4. The Users
4.1 Who are the users and how are they affected by the problem?
They are not able to openly ask queries related to their health or hygiene due to societal
pressure and family‟s state of mind.
4.2 What have you actually observed about the users and how the problem affects
them?
Whenever children ask theirparents issues related to their health, they only get one
answer- “At your age we also used to face it and it‟s common. Don‟t worry, you will
auomatically come out of it”. But that‟s not the case, small things lead to big issues.
As we grow older our body faces changes physically, mentally or hormonal. So, we are
curious to know about them but its common that if we ask from our elders the topic is either
diverted or we are doubted or cross questions, that leads to not able share further things
with them.
14
4.3 Record your interview questions here as well as responses from users.
Q1. What do you think are the most significant challenges faced by male
adolescents today?
RESPONSES-
1. The expectations of society as men from 17 to whenever it ends are very high.
Males have the tag behind their back to be emotion less and take the work
given, have a good decent earning, as being a intern and take work load of
others and balance college life plus personal life with keeping in mind of the
educational criteria, no excuses to be made and the pressure ends up breaking
the men so deep they never trust again and put themselves away from society.
2. Male adolescents may experience conflicts with family members or face
difficulties in communication with parents or caregivers, impacting their
emotional development.
3. Inability to be vocal and share their troubles with fellow peers due to fear of not
being understood or being made fun of thus suppressing those emotions.
4. Avoiding masturbating, because porn is very easily available on internet.
5. Submissiveness.
6. Erotic or intimate thoughts.
Q2. If those people come to you, what would you suggest them?
RESPONSES-
1. Step back Let people know your worth when someone is sacrificing so much and
taking the pressure of society and people around them can‟t appreciate then
they need to know that their work do matters (Goes with both male and female).
It doesn‟t matter if someone can‟t appreciate you for what you are doing back
down.
2. Helping others can teach you to help yourself. I will suggest working together on
setting up new routines and set achievable daily goals. You could fit in home
chores around school work or set a target like getting homework done before
dinner. Adolescence means independence
3. to be more comfortable with themselves and not feel like a need to be
emotionless just for being a boy.
4. To take breaks, live smoothly and peacefully without peer pressure.
5. To masturbate it also helps in concentration, relaxation.
RESPONSES-
15
Q4 Besides males, would you be interested in learning about women’s issues?
RESPONSES-
Q5. Have you ever offered help or support to women in any way?
RESPONSES-
16
Q6. If yes, in what way?
RESPONSES-
1. I am a part of a giant family and I always been close and understanding of all my female
cousins as they whenever go through their periods they share their pain, their tears, them
being verbally abusing the people they hate and I tend to help them by listening and
sending them Ice creams and sitting down and giving them hot water pads and whatever
they need the that present movement. As friends as I said I listen and let them just let their
pain out if it has to be me getting beaten by them so be it and give them chocolates,
cranberry juice and what they need.
2. In my family I have a sister and a mother so I have helped them in many ways.
3. Emotional support, companionship, assurance, advice.
4. Helping her in her periods to reduce the pain or talking to her for divert her mind from the
pain.
5. No
Q7.if you haven’t helped women before, would you be interested in offering help or support
to women in the future?
RESPONSES-
RESPONSES-
17
9. If “yes” or “sometimes”, kindly brief it as why do you care about their thinking?
RESPONSES-
1. In my opinion growing up all together, we should help each other in every possible manner
like we have to change the approach of thinking that someone else will help and should take
stand by ourselves. In short we need to help each other for whole society growth.
2. Because if we have to live in this society we have to care about society's opinions.
3. As some of them are well educated and experience.
4. Because society is partially right and partially wrong. I just listen to those things of society
that I think is right and good for me.
5. Society‟s job is to give their unwanted opinions and to make statement about how others live
their life‟s but sometimes as society is something that everyone is part of it whether their will
to be or not they are part of it and it becomes a standardized level of acceptance on what the
society has to say therefore sometimes the opinions of society does come to effect.
It's right to live your life in your conditions without caring about society but if you want to adjust to
society you sometimes have to care about societies thinking and opinions.
Q10. Are you experiencing any mental health issues?(e.g. stress, anxiety, depression)
RESPONSES-
1. Depression (at minor level)
2. Sometimes I feel stressed, also everyone has feelings of anxiety at some point in
their life.
3. No
4. A bit anxiety when I joined coaching.
5. Eating disorders.
6. Sometimes extreme anxiety due to overthinking
7. Panic attacks
RESPONSES-
1. By exploring the world.
2. Emotion repression and stop thinking about results.
3. I try to rationalize my emotions and find logical reasons for them and if that doesn't work i
simply distract myself till i forget or I just live with it.
4. Sharing problems with my friends.
5. Be active; connecting with people; having some "me time"; challenging yourself; avoiding
unhealthy habits.
6. I learn to part ways and accept what‟s in front of me and then let myself understand that it
has happened. All I can do now is how to improve and not to make the same mistake again
but I believe second chance should be given to the situation if a loved one is involved.
7. Enjoying my hobby like playing video games or sometimes talking to someone helps me out.
18
8. Watching Anime or TV Shows.
9. When I go through these situations I think about things and privileges I have got whereas
some people dream of like decent lifestyle, no financial problems ,good education, healthy
body, etc. and many more things so why we have to take stress and for what .
Q.12 Are you aware of available resources for sexual health information and support in your
community? If yes, where did you get that information from?
RESPONSES-
1. Government provides necessary help in whichever way possible.
2. Yes, for e.g.:- there are sanitary pads for women and diaper for old age people.
3. Yes, I got this information about this from my school.
4. We can get free, confidential advice and treatment from our GP or specialist clinics in our
area.
5. From internet and friends and class 10 NCERT.
REPONSES-
RESPONSES-
1. It feels embarrassing to share our problem with anyone.
2. Sharing the problems is not challenging but I personally don't like to share them.
3. I don‟t find anyone capable of understanding me.
4. My personal struggles would differ from others and would be difficult for others to relate to or
help with and would also be an extra burden for them on top of their own problems thus I
prefer to keep them to myself as it also helps me get better at depending on myself and
solving my own problems
19

11. Individual learning reflection
11.1. Team Reflections
A good way to identify what you have learned is to ask yourself what surprised you during the
project. List the things that surprised you and any other thoughts you might have on issues in
your local community.
It was a great opportunity to learn and explore the different ways in which Bots can aid us
with our day-to-day tasks, as well as complicated tasks. The chatbot aims to help teenagers
to overcome those taboos and discuss their problems openly. Further training the model will
help make it better and thus help others in a better way. It all around helped enhance my
knowledge on AI as well as other topics. It was a good experience working with the people in
the team.
It was a good learning experience in creating this Persona Care chatbot and I had a
lot of fun exploring this emerging technology. I learned that planning is essential
because this is the backbone of the entire chatbot project. Just like any project that
