WALK IN INTERVIEW FOR THE POST OF JUNIOR RESIDENT

The DDU Hospital will hold walk-in-Interview on 25.06.2024 for filling up vacancies of Junior
Residents on Regular basis in the Seminar Hall (Ground Floor), Doctor’s Hostel, DDUH.

Candidates, who fulfill the eligibility criteria, may apply in the enclosed prescribed Performa along
with self attested copies of all testimonials and passport size photographs and submit their forms at
Seminar Hall (Ground Floor), Doctor’s Hostel, DDUH, on 25.06.2024 from 9.30 AM to 11.00
AM. Candidates appearing after 11.00 AM will not be considered for Interview.

 All interested candidates are advised to download the application form Enclosed below for
appearing in interview. No Application form will be provided at the time of interview. Candidates are
required to print pg. 3- 5 for form attached with this advertisement. All Candidates must have
original documents at the time of Interview.
 The date and time of Interview is subject to number of application forms received on the
above mentioned date.

TERMS & ELEGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR THE POST OF JUNIOR RESIDENT :-

1 Qualification: MBBS or equivalent degree from a MCI recognized university/Institute.

Foreign Graduate must have cleared FMG examination. The candidate must not have done
junior residency of one year from any recognized institute.

2 Age:- for General candidates 30 years as on date of Interview. Relaxable for SC/ST by 05
years and for OBC(Delhi only) by 03 years. OBC candidates are required to submit their
caste certificate issued by the Competent Authority of GNCT of Delhi. The certificate
should mention their belonging to non-creamy layer. Age relaxation for PH candidates is as
per rules. Attested copy of Age proof (Class 10th Certificate to be attached.)

3 Internship:- Candidate must have completed one year rotatory internship/passed FMG
examination on or after 26.06.2023. (i.e. 01 year before date of interview).
4 Registration: Candidate must have Valid DMC Certificate at the time of Interview.
Application with ‘Applied For’ status are not eligible for interview.
 5 Junior Residents who are working on Ad hoc basis in DDUH & fulfill the above terms and
condition will have to appear for interview if they want to be regularized.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. 4% seats shall be reserved for physically handicapped persons as per the rules.
2. Numbers of the vacancies are provisional and subject to change without any notice.

3. Appointment will be initially for a period of six months extendable up to maximum of one year
on the basis of satisfactory work & conduct report from the concerned HOD and written request
from the Doctor concerned.
4. Pay Scale: As per Pay Matrix, at Level 10 (Rs. 56100-177500), Plus usual allowance as
admissible under the rules.
5. OBC/EWS certificates issued from Govt. of NCT of Delhi shall only be accepted. OBC Certificate
from Govt. Of NCT of Delhi should mention their belonging to Non Creamy Layer for that
current financial Year.
6. In case of SC/ST/OBC/EWS certificate reveals that the claim to belong to these categories is
fake/false the services will be terminated forthwith without assigning any further reason and
without prejudice to such further action as may be taken under the provisions of Indian Penal
Code for production of fake/false certificate.
7. The appointment and services will be governed under Residency Scheme of Govt. of India.
8. Selected candidates who accepts the offer of appointment and join the hospital will not be given
NOC of any kind for any purpose whatsoever (passport, visa, etc.) before putting in at least 06
months of service.
9. All appointments shall be subject to medical fitness and verification of certificates of educational
qualification/age/caste/submission of valid DMC registration certificate and internship
completion certificate etc.
10. No TA/DA to be paid to the candidates who will appear for interview.
11. Jurisdiction of Dispute: In case of any Legal dispute, the jurisdiction of Court will be Delhi/New
Delhi only.
