Climate Impeded
Progress(Health)
Introduction:
In every blog or article, it is a norm to basically start with a brief meaning of
the body of the article or simply the topic, so to that effect, “what is climate”

According to the oxford dictionary "climate" primarily refers to the typical

pattern of weather conditions in a particular area over a long period. It can
also mean an atmosphere or prevailing mood in a specific setting, such as
the "political climate" or "economic climate."

In the definition above, the first definition there was stated to be primary
which is not our mean focus in fact it has no connection to this article but the
second definition (It can also mean an atmosphere or prevailing mood in a
specific setting, such as the "political climate" or "economic climate.") is
what the shoulders of this article will be resting on, as “economic health” as
its head of the body.

Looking up at our topic we see “health” in bracket, now the reason is this,
“we The MAG foundation are specifically into health most importantly
“Kidney Health” and that is why we see to it that each and every article we
write have a health-related significance in order to see a world with hope and
health in it, as our director is a Kidney disease survivor that is part of if not
our major vision as The MAG foundation” Now back to this vicious article, the
question here is does climate has any cod with health, this will lead us to:

Climate and Health Relationship:

This is almost easy to explain, by the definition we are looking into we came
across the world “atmosphere” this is to say that for we humans to have a
life worth living there need to be a really serene atmosphere, one not
polluted and conducive for both us and the animals generally, this all boils
down to saying that, any negative atmospheric change commonly known as
climate change can trigger serious health issues in many people system
leading to unsecured living which is not part our routine for living as stated
in our early entry. so, we have to secure a good climate for us and majorly
for our health, but realistically you can’t solve a problem without knowing
why it happened or it’s happening.

Why Climate Change?

The concept of climate change began in the early 19th century when
scientists like Jean-Baptiste Fourier, in 1824, theorized that Earth's
atmosphere might trap heat (what we now call the "greenhouse effect").
Later, in 1896, Svante Arrhenius quantified how changes in atmospheric
carbon dioxide could alter Earth’s temperature. However, it wasn't until the
mid-20th century that climate change as a consequence of human activity,
especially fossil fuel combustion, gained wider scientific recognition and
concern, the climate change gained more wider recognition and concern
because of its massive disadvantage to human health and probably many
more, and its result was majorly due to human activity but not the especially
listed can be only reason, we have factors that create result to climate
change, but before we move to that, note that “why climate change” is
majorly due to humans activities.

Factors That Result to Climate Change:

 Greenhouse Gas Emissions: Carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous
oxide trap heat in Earth’s atmosphere, raising global temperatures.
 Deforestation: Removing trees limits CO₂ absorption, increasing
atmospheric carbon.
 Fossil Fuels: Burning coal, oil, and gas releases significant CO₂.
 Industrial Activities: Manufacturing and agriculture produce
greenhouse gases, including methane from livestock.
 Land Use Changes: Urbanization and agriculture alter Earth’s
reflective properties, contributing to warming.

In the second and the last of these factors, it indirectly talks about the
importance of Planting and afforestation, we remove trees not making any
pave to plant them back we turn good air giving forest to Urban estate and
more all in the name of Technology, this is not to condemn technology
because it has helped and it still helping but what are you actually doing to
help and in excess help yourself, is not all about building, in our houses
today how many of us think it necessary to possess green areas, it has
become like a rare jam to see green areas in our well built houses today and
yet we complain of bad health it might seem not that necessary but trust me
it's more important than we think, it really is.

These are the factor of climate change so we should with no

preference tend to avoid and if they eventually seem unavoidable, make
solute provision for every step taken toward that area, Rome was not Buit in
three day this is to say that the climate is not going to be restored when you
wake up tomorrow, it started through a process so it will surely be reversed
through a process.

If we indeed decide to take a step to seeing reality in what is written, what

are the steps?

Restore Good Climate System (Steps)

1. Reducing Fossil Fuel Use: Transitioning from fossil fuels to
renewable energy sources is one of the most direct ways to reduce
carbon emissions. Carbon taxes, subsidies for clean energy, and
transitioning to electric power sources for vehicles and industrial
processes are practical methods to reduce reliance on fossil fuels.
2. Protecting and Expanding Carbon Sinks: Forests, wetlands, and
peatlands act as natural carbon sinks, capturing large amounts of CO₂.
Protecting existing ecosystems and investing in afforestation and
reforestation can absorb significant carbon emissions, with initiatives
like Conservation International aiming to protect carbon-dense
ecosystems and plant additional trees to sequester CO₂ effectively.
3. Enhancing Energy Efficiency: Efficient energy use in buildings,
transport, and manufacturing can drastically lower carbon emissions.
Investing in insulation, efficient appliances, and smart technology are
essential steps to reduce the energy demand, thus minimizing
greenhouse gas output.
4. Sustainable Agriculture: Implementing sustainable farming
practices, such as reducing food waste and increasing plant-based
diets, can cut emissions. Deforestation for agriculture contributes
significantly to greenhouse gases, so adopting sustainable practices
can help conserve forests and enhance soil carbon capture.
5. Promoting Nature-based Solutions: Nature-based solutions,
including afforestation and regenerative agriculture, help maintain
biodiversity and support climate adaptation. Projects like those
promoted by the United Nations and Conservation International
advocate for sustainable management of natural ecosystems, which
can absorb CO₂ effectively, often at a lower cost compared to
technological solutions.
6. Increasing Political and Corporate Accountability: Encouraging
governments and corporations to adopt and implement policies that
support emission reductions and sustainable practices is vital. This
includes enforcing environmental regulations, investing in green
infrastructure, and setting aggressive climate goals, such as reaching
net-zero emissions by 2050.

Together, these actions form a comprehensive approach to mitigating

climate change and are supported by environmental organizations and
policymakers worldwide who recognize the need for immediate, large-scale
action. Combining these strategies with individual lifestyle changes—such as
reducing energy consumption and supporting green initiatives—further
contributes to a healthier climate system.

For more details on these actions, you may refer to resources by UNEP,
Conservation International, and the World Economic Forum, which outline
these strategies in depth and highlight ongoing initiatives worldwide.

In conclusion
The climate is so precious to us we can’t afford to lose it so we should do our
best to see things work, personally will help much more than you think, think
about when like 20 thousand people those personally, do you know the kind
of impact that will create so understand me when I say personally helps a lot.

“Don’t take anything for granted so as be Granted by nature”

We are blessed!!

In that spirit we tend that you aid us in our journey as we will be going
around to physically enlighten those who will not be able to get access to
this just the way you did, we will surely be grateful for any form of support.

In case you tend to support financially please we urge that you click this link

Thank you!!!
