and high-speed traffic demands. Suggest the core requirements needed for an

3.1 As a qualified civil engineer specializing in airport infrastructure, you are tasked
with evaluating and improving the quality of pavement structures for a major
international airport. Classify the factors that influence the design criteria of airport
pavement structures based on their impact and relevance. [10]
3.2 Distinguish between airside and landside activities at an airport. [2]

You are a site manager overseeing a large construction project. Over the past few
weeks, you've noticed that tools, materials, and debris are not being properly stored
or disposed of after use. Workers are frequently leaving equipment out in the open,
and gangways are cluttered with unused materials. Also, some workers have reported
slipping on wet patches that haven't been cleaned up promptly.
