SUPPORT - HOUSING COVER

• Properties Housing Cover Seal

One profile gasket in combination with a guide ring
guarantee an optimized behavior toward abrasion and
friction.
Pushing out by pressure shocks or torn inside by sticky
media will be avoided by single lip design.
Contact surfaces are limited and friction is minimized
what leads to less wear.

Advantages of ‘wing-design‘:

Guide ring
guarantees better guidance performance and an
optimized behavior toward abrasion and friction due
to a special geometry

Profile gasket
protects the inside from the housing against the
atmosphere. In combination with the guide ring this
leads to minimized contact area and guarantees long
durability and less wear. Pushing out by pressure shocks
or torn inside by sticky media will be avoided by single lip
design

Double O-Ring on the upper valve disc

- upper O-Ring provides product sealing in closed
valve position
- lower O-Ring provides leakage chamber sealing in open
valve position

RSC-Radial gasket
Sealing element between lower and upper line leads to a
better performance in regard to longer durability and a
better swelling compensation due to a special geometry

ACTUATOR CONCEPT

• Actuator performance is secured by a high-performance pneumatic seal

• For safety reasons the spring is caged by a welded actuator cylinder
• Optional: the lifting cylinder parts are easy to change with the aid of the Südmo maintenance
cylinder
(in this case no pneumatic or hydraulic press being needed)

• As a rule, seal kit relates to the smaller diameter
• Advantages in comparison to housings in bigger

with reducer:
- no air inclusion (dome)
- good clean ability
- no stall
- no additional reductions needed
- low space required
- easy to maintain due to compact and slim insert
- cost-optimized by using the insert of the smaller
diameter
