1. It is mandatory for all the students to complete Semester internship either in V Semester
or in VI Semester.
2. Every student should identify the organization for internship in consultation with the
College Principal/the authorized person nominated by the Principal.
3. Report to the intern organization as per the schedule given by the College. You must make
your own arrangements for transportation to reach the organization.
4. You should maintain punctuality in attending the internship. Daily attendance is
compulsory.
5. You are expected to learn about the organization, policies, procedures, and processes by
interacting with the people working in the organization and by consulting the supervisor
attached to the interns.
6. While you are attending the internship, follow the rules and regulations of theintern
organization.
7. While in the intern organization, always wear your College Identity Card.

8. If your College has a prescribed dress as uniform, wear the uniform daily, as you attend
to your assigned duties.
9. You will be assigned a Faculty Guide from your College. He/She will be creating a
WhatsApp group with your fellow interns. Post your daily activity done and/or any
difficulty you encounter during the internship.
10. Identify five or more learning objectives in consultation with your Faculty Guide. These
learning objectives can address:
a. Data and Information you are expected to collect about the organizationand/or industry.
b. Job Skills you are expected to acquire.
c. Development of professional competencies that lead to future career success.
11. Practice professional communication skills with team members, co-interns, and your
supervisor. This includes expressing thoughts and ideas effectively through oral, written,
and non-verbal communication, and utilizing listening skills.
12. Be aware of the communication culture in your work environment. Follow up and
communicate regularly with your supervisor to provide updates on your progress with
work assignments.
13. Never be hesitant to ask questions to make sure you fully understand whatyouneed to do
your work and to contribute to the organization.
14. Be regular in filling up your Program Book. It shall be filled up in your own
handwriting. Add additional sheets wherever necessary.
15. At the end of internship, you shall be evaluated by your Supervisor of theintern
organization.
16. There shall also be evaluation at the end of the internship by the Faculty Guideand
the Principal.
17. Do not meddle with the instruments/equipment you work with.
18. Ensure that you do not cause any disturbance to the regular activities of the intern
organization.
19. Be cordial but not too intimate with the employees of the intern organization and your
fellow interns.
20. You should understand that during the internship programme, you are the ambassador of
your College, and your behavior during the internship programme is of utmost
importance.
21. If you are involved in any discipline related issues, you will be withdrawn from the
internship programme immediately and disciplinary action shall be initiated.

BREIF DESCRIPTION OF INTERNSHIP:

Finance Literacy provides valuable opportunities for students to gain real-world


experience and apply their financial knowledge in a professional setting. Financial
literacy usually refers to a set of skills that allow people to manage their money wisely.

Digital productivity course helps learners to enhance skills in using the three most
important Microsoft Office Tools - MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
Microsoft Excel or MS Excel is a commonly used Microsoft office application, Excel

stores data in tablets, it has several rows and columns. PowerPoint is a presentation
program developed by Microsoft that creates a slide show of important information,
charts, and images for a presentation.

SUMMARY OF THE ACTIVITIES:

Financial Literacy program is dedicated to equipping young individuals with essential


financial skills and knowledge. It aims to empower youth by providing comprehensive
education on managing finances, making informed financial decisions, and fostering
financial independence. Financial Literacy program aims not only to impart financial
knowledge but also to inspire a generation of financially savvy and responsible young
individuals, laying the groundwork for their future success and economic well-being.

Digital Productivity initiative is dedicated to equipping young individuals with the


essential digital skills necessary to thrive in today's fast-paced and tech-driven world.
This program aims to empower youth by enhancing their digital fluency, productivity,
and innovation capabilities. Digital Productivity initiative aims to bridge the digital
skills gap among young individuals, ensuring they are not just consumers but adept
creators and problem-solvers in a digital world. By fostering digital fluency and
productivity, this program seeks to empower youth for success in their future endeavors.

CHAPTER – 2: OVERVIEW OF THE ORGANIZATION

INTRODUCTION OF THE ORGANIZATION:

The YuWaah Passport to Learning UNICEF internship is an opportunity offered by


UNICEF through its YuWaah initiative, focusing on empowering young people and
fostering skill development. The program aims to provide interns with a platform to
contribute to youth-focused initiatives while gaining valuable professional experience.

The internship program is designed to engage young individuals in projects related to


youth empowerment, education, skill-building, and innovation under the YuWaah
initiative. Interns are involved in projects that aim to empower and support young people
by fostering skills, providing resources, and creating opportunities for personal and
professional development.

VISION,MISSION AND VALUES OF THE ORGANIZATION:

YuWaah Passport to Earning, an initiative by UNICEF, aimed to empower youth by


providing them with opportunities, skills, and resources for personal and professional
development. Here's a generic representation of the vision, mission, and values that align
with such an initiative

CHAPTER – 3: INTERNSHIP PART

Yuwaah UNICEF program is an e-learning platform that helps the students to gain
knowledge about Finance management and grip on word, Microsoft power point and
excel sheets. Yuwaah UNICEF program is brought to me by the Eduskills foundation.
This program is for a period of 8 weeks beginning from 22-05-2023 to 04-11-2023.

During this program we have learned two topics i.e., Financial Literacy and Digital
Productivity. In Financial Literacy we learned about how to save money in bank. We
have learned about opening of bank account, types of bank accounts, fixed deposit
benefits, loans and money management. Attended some quiz and that quiz is based on
family finance conditions. And in Digital Productivity we learned about Microsoft word,
Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft excel sheet. In Microsoft word we have learned
about how to create a word document, how to save a word document, inserting tables
and page layout. In Microsoft PowerPoint we have learned about creation of
PowerPoint, page layout, insertion of photos to it and template styles. In Microsoft excel
we have learned about creation of excel sheet, excel functionalities, applying arithmetic
and aggregation techniques in Excel sheet.

have worked to enhance cyber security awareness, protect personal information and

identifying fraudulent activities.

currency. The program introduces youth to the fundamental principles of currency,


including exchange rates, global economics, and the significance of currency values

in international trade. It aims to enhance their understanding of the financial world's

Recognizing the importance of safety in financial dealings, the program educates

participants about cyber security, emphasizing measures to protect personal and

effective redressal. Emphasis is placed on communication skills to articulate concerns

Internal & External Evaluation for Semester Internship

Objectives:
 Explore career alternatives prior to graduation.
 To assess interests and abilities in the field of study.

Assessment Model:
 There shall be both internal evaluation and external evaluation
 The Faculty Guide assigned is in-charge of the learning activities of the students and
for the comprehensive and continuous assessment of the students.
 The assessment is to be conducted for 200 marks. Internal Evaluation for 50 marks and
External Evaluation for 150 marks
 The number of credits assigned is 12. Later the marks shall be converted into grades and
grade points to include finally in the SGPA and CGPA.
 The weightings for Internal Evaluation shall be:

o Oral Presentation 10 marks
 The weightings for External Evaluation shall be:

on an individual basis, thus allowing for individual members within groups to be
