Ball valve, with female-female threaded connections (NPT, ASME B1.20.1). Suitable for water for heating/cooling systems,
dangerous and not dangerous gas, liquid hydrocarbons. Valve made of UNI EN 12165 CW617N brass. Standard port. Steel
lever handle with anti-corrosion treatment and PVC coating. Stem with double O-Ring. Nut with anti-corrosion coating, with
guarantee seal and hologram. USE WITH WATER AND NOT DANGEROUS GAS: Min. working temperature: -20 °C with 50 %
glycol solutions. Max. working temperature with dry saturated steam: 185 °C with 1,05 MPa (10,5 bar). Max. working pressure at
20 °C with water and not dangerous gas: 4,2 MPa (42 bar) for 1/4”, 3/8”, 1/2”, 3/4”; 3,5 MPa (35 bar) for 1”, 1-1/4”, 1-1/2”, 2”; 2,8 MPa
(28 bar) for 2-1/2”, 3”, 4”. USE WITH GAS AND LIQUID HYDROCARBONS: Temperature range: -20÷60 °C. Max. working pressure

Manually operated ball valves are used to control water to small open-head extinguishing systems or in the trim on waterflow alarm
valves, dry pipe valves or automatic water control valves.
The friction loss through these valves should be considered when they are used in hydraulically calculated extinguishing systems.
