g. Position and Criterion for the following post:

1. President: The candidate for the post of President of the BAIUST Debate Club should be a
student of Level-3 Term II.

2. Vice President: The candidate for the post of Vice President of the BAIUST Debate Club
should be a student of Level-3 Term I & II.

3. General Secretary: The candidate for the post of General Secretary of the BAIUST Debate
Club should be a student of Level-3 Term I & II and Level 2 Term-II.

4. Treasurer: The candidate for the post of Treasurer of the BAIUST Debate Club should be a
student of Level-3 Term I & II.

5. Organizing Secretary: The candidate for the post of Organizer of the BAIUST Debate Club
should be a student of Level-3 Term I & II.

6. Media & Publication Secretary: The candidate for the post of Media & Publication
Secretary of the BAIUST Debate Club should be a student of Level-2 Term-II or Level-3 Term -
I & II.

6. Executive Member: The candidate for the post of Executive Member of the BAIUST Debate
Club should be a student of Level-2 Term-II or Level-3 Term -I & II. Six (6) Executives
Members will be appointed.

h. General Requirements for Executives:

• Executive member must be a running student of the BAIUST.


• Previous experience in respective fields
• Organizing & Leadership skills
• Having no disciplinary issues in academic life
• Having no affiliation with politics or any political group
• Those having CGPA 3.00 or above will get preference
• Having no affiliation with the executive body of other central club of BAIUST.

n. The Candidates have to submit the duly filled nomination form to the Advisor of the BAIUST
Debate Club by 4th November, 2024.
