Send-off and Installation Ceremony

November 4, 2020

1. “A leader is like a shepherd. He stays behind the flock, letting the


most nimble go out ahead, whereupon the others follow, not

2. A pleasant morning to everyone! Most especially to our Schools


Division Superintendent Ma’am Lani H. Cervantes, Assistant
Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Mario Rodgie R. Sombilon,
CID Chief Dr. Alejandro S. Almendras, SGOD Chief Dr. Artemia S.
Leoberas Supervisor of District 5, Dr. Ma. Jereza A. Matiga,
Supervisor of District 4, Ma’am Lily Quiamco, School Head of
Salvacion Elementary School, Ma’am Edurne Salanap, incoming
School Head of Salvacion High School, Ma’am Leila A. Cormanes,
Outgoing School Principal of Salvacion High School , Dr. Abel M.
Dayandayan, , School Administrators of District 5, Hon. Rafael G.
Orillano, our Brgy. Chairman and Salvacion Brgy. Council, co-
teachers, parents, guests to everyone present here today, let us
all witness the Send-off and Installation Rites and thank you for
being with us here today!

3. To begin, May I request everyone to rise as Ma’am Rhoda


Lamoste leads us as we pay allegiance to our country. Please
remain standing for the Invocation to be led by Sir Argen Porcare,
to be followed by the singing of the Ormoc City Division Hymn
and Ormoc City Hymn.

4. Please be seated. To formally begin this program, may I call on


our very hardworking and kindhearted Punong Barangay of Brgy.
Salvacion, Hon. Rafael Orillano for his words of welcome, ‘a round
of applause, please.’
5. Thank you very, Honorable Rafael Orillano for such a warm
welcome.
6. We are truly delighted and privileged to have with us today the
Schools Division Superintendent of Ormoc City Division, Ma’am
Lani H. Cervantes. May I now hand over the microphone to Ma’am
Lani for the installation of the incoming School Principal of LiNHS –
Salvacion High School.

7. Thank you so much, Ma’am Lani.

8. Now, for the Oath of Office and his message, let us all welcome
the most active and ever-supportive City Councilor of Ormoc,
Chairman of the Education Committee, Atty. Nolito Quilang. This
will be followed by the Turn-over of Responsibilities by Dr. Abel M.
Dayandayan, outgoing principal and the acceptance by incoming
principal, Ma’am Leila A. Cormanes.

9. Thank you, Atty. Quilang, Sir Abel and Ma’am Leila.

10.At this juncture, we will be entertained by our very own, Mr.


Argen Porcare with a song number.

11.That was a beautiful and sentimental song number, Sir Argen.

12.At this moment, to give a Farewell message to our dear Principal,


our outgoing Principal Sir Abel Dayandayan, may I call on my
colleague, Sir Raymart B. Ramis.

13.Thank you, Sir Raymart for such a very touching and gushing
farewell message.
14.Everyone, for the messages of support, help me welcome, the
District Supervisor of District 5, Dr. Ma. Jereza C. Matiga.
15.Thank you very Ma’am Jereza for such an encouraging message.
16.Also for her messages of support, I am humbled to have here, the
District Supervisor of District 4, Mrs. Lily Quiamco.

17.Thank you, Ma’am Lily for your very heartening message.

18.At this moment, for the presentation of challenges, we are very


pleased to have with us today, the Assistant Schools Division
Superintendent, Dr. Mario Rodgie R. Sombilon.

21.To Ma’am Leila, WELCOME to Salvacion High School, Ma’am. We


teachers, assured to be in your command and responsibility, we
will give you all the support as we continue to build our school,
wisdom to help in any endeavor you and I appeal to all of you,
my teacher-colleagues to fulfill our duties religiously, be
hardworking, conversant and be a true teacher in its sense. Let's
do our job with unity and sincerity in the heart. Let's make LiNHS
– Salvacion High School a proud school.

22.To Sir Abel, THANK YOU so much for being God’s given gift to
Brgy. Salvacion. Thank you for being not only our principal, but
as our brother who understands and teaches us to do our best in
any way we can. You, who had done everything you can to build
and develop the Salvacion High School, you, who shared us your
best in many ways, you, who had led us to be more open-minded
to things and feasible to many situations to willingly accept and
follow as directed and be able to perform our duties well.
23.We also APOLOGIZE too, in all our failings. Sir, good luck and God
bless on your new journey.

24.Before this program ends, let me share with you this quotation
from - Ralph Waldo Emerson, “Do not go where the path may
lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.”

25.We are deeply honored to have everyone present here today.
