MODEL UNITED NATIONS (9th – 10th NOVEMBER 2024)


GENERAL GUIDELINES
1. ENTRY & REGISTRATION
a. Reporting time on 9.11.2024 is 7:45 am and on 10.11.2024 is 8:45 am. Buses will not ply on both days.
Parents will pick and drop their wards.
b. Gate will be closed 5 minutes after the reporting time. No entry will be allowed after that.
c. All the students will enter and exit through Gate No. 6 only and they should wear their school identity
card.
d. On both the days students must immediately report at their respective venues as mentioned in the
list for attendance/registration and handing over their mobile phones / laptops to the teacher
coordinator.
e. On the first day, after registration all student delegates should move towards breakfast venue by
8:15am. By 9:15 am all participants must be seated for opening ceremony in the assembly area.
2. DRESS CODE
a. The formal dress code for all committees is already shared with the attendees, this should be strictly
followed.
b. Heavy jewellery, unwanted accessories and inappropriate make-up is strictly not permissible.
c. On any pretext, change of clothes during the event will not be allowed.
d. No expensive items (including smart watches, iPad, EarPods etc.) is permitted. Event photographs will
be shared with the students. Participants taking part in photography in IP committee are allowed to
carry their camera. They must inform the teacher coordinator of their committee.
e. Throughout the event on both days all participants must carry their school identity card and MUN
identity card as well.
3. CODE OF CONDUCT
a. Decent behaviour is expected throughout the event. Zero tolerance towards use of uncivilized
language/ rude behaviour.
b. Roaming out in the premises, going to other venues/ wings is not permissible.
c. Punctuality while reporting to school and at venue for each activity must be taken care of by all
delegates.
4. MOBILE / LAPTOPS
a. Laptops/Mobiles are allowed on both the days, please ensure that they carry the label of your name,
class and section. The organizing committee will not be responsible for loss of any personal item.
b. While entering the mobile should be on switch-off mode and it will be switched on only in the
presence of teacher coordinator.
c. All attendees must ensure that mobile/laptop is ONLY to be used for research related to agenda, no
other application/site should be used. Violation of this will result in confiscation of the gadget as well
as immediate expulsion of the defaulter from the event and suspension from the school.
5. DISPERSAL
a. As the time of dispersal will be late evening the student (both boys/ girls) will be handed over only to
the parent from their activity venue rooms. The attendees (student) must ensure that they inform
their activity venue room number to their parent beforehand.
b. Time of dispersal is 7:30pm, which is to be followed strictly.
c. Before dispersal, all students must ensure that they reach their activity venues for final attendance
and also collect their mobile/laptops from the teacher-coordinator before leaving.
