CNC Programming. Setup & Operations (6-months Course) 1

TRAINING OBJECTIVES

Pakistan is a developing nation and endeavoring to convert its economy from agricultural
to industrial base. The ever growing industrial infrastructure is now adopting modern
manufacturing techniques by installing such machinery & equipment which has a fairly
high degree of automation which can meet the demand of local and foreign customers
especially in quality, quantity and engineering precisions. This automation helps to
increase productivity and precision in the products manufactured.
In the engineering concerns there is a good population of CNC Machines; installed for
execution of precision engineering works. But the dilemma is the shortage of skilled
manpower in the market which can handle these precise CNC machinery and automated
equipment to the satisfaction of their owners. Due to this handicap the conversion from
conventional to CNC technologies is very slow.
This course has been designed keeping in view the demands and expectations of the
engineering cluster and the stakeholders. This course aims at producing such skilled
manpower which can proficiently operate CNC machines by programming, setting-up
and carrying out their assigned work. The manpower produce will develop a confidence
amongst the industrial sector to adopt CNC Machining Technologies with a faster pace as
compared to the past. Eventually the economy of Pakistan will stabilize specifically in the
engineering sector.
