EXERCISE 1:
Business scenario:
In your role as marketing expert, you want to prepare a new direct mail campaign for a target group.
Exercise goals:
In this exercise, you will learn how to setup and execute direct mail campaigns.
NOTE: Due to legal reasons it is not possible to execute direct mail campaigns in the demo environment. All
steps will therefore be only done in an already executed direct mail campaign.
Prerequisites
Task 1: Create your own direct mail campaign (be aware that execution will not be possible)
1. Log into SAP Business ByDesign system using the below mentioned credentials for Kathy
Jag
a. User ID: ISBxxx
b. Password: Welcome1
2. Click on Show/ hide work center navigation icon .
3. Open the marketing work center
4. Click on “Campaigns”
9. Add a subject line and add an mail template (file “Direct Email.txt” from lecturer)
