1. Cite example situation or scenario where we could apply ADDIE model?

~For example, you can export a PowerPoint file into an Animated GIF file at a specific
period. Presenting online is possible if you provide your audience with the URL. Then
you can record your presentation and post it to the internet. However, you can convert
your PowerPoint into PDF. The ADDIE model, which stands for Analysis, Design,
Development, Implementation, and Evaluation, can be applied in various situations. For
instance, consider a company aiming to enhance employee training programs.

2. If you will apply technology in your teaching and learning process, aside from the
technologies and application mentioned what would it be and why ( mentioned in
Reports ) Provide short explanations of its benefits for teachers as well as learners?
~ In addition to technologies mentioned in reports, incorporating interactive whiteboards
can be beneficial. These digital boards allow teachers to present dynamic content,
collaborate in real-time, and engage learners actively.
BenefitsforTeachers:
-Dynamic Presentations - Teachers can create visually appealing and interactive
lessons, enhancing engagement and understanding.
-Real-time Collaboration - Facilitates collaborative learning by enabling teachers to
share content, receive input, and interact with students in real time.
-Resource Integration - Easily integrate multimedia elements, educational apps, and
online resources to diversify teaching materials.

Benefits for Learners:

-Interactive Learning - Students can actively participate in lessons, solving problems
directly on the board or engaging in collaborative activities.
-Visual Aid - Enhances comprehension through visual aids, diagrams, and multimedia,
catering to diverse learning styles.
-Increased Engagement - Interactive whiteboards make lessons more dynamic,
fostering a more engaging and participatory learning environment.

3. Put a "✓" mark for examples of digital learner resources and "X" mark for
conventional learning resources

3.1. Compare and contrast digital learning resources and conventional learning
resources?

Digital Learning Resources:

1. Accessibility -Digital resources provide anytime, anywhere access, enabling learners

to study at their own pace and convenience.
2. Interactivity - Incorporates interactive elements, simulations, and multimedia,
enhancing engagement and understanding.
3. Up-to-Date Content -Easily updated to reflect current information, ensuring relevance
and accuracy.
4. Individualized Learning - Adaptive technologies can personalize content based on
individual progress and learning styles.

Conventional Learning Resources

1. Tangibility - Physical resources like textbooks offer a tangible, tactile learning
experience.
2. Limited Interactivity - Traditional resources may lack the interactive and dynamic
elements present in digital formats.
3. Longevity - Physical resources can endure without the need for continuous updates,
providing a sense of stability.
4. Social Interaction - Conventional resources often promote face-to-face interaction
among students during group activities.

Common Ground

1. Learning Objectives - Both types aim to convey educational content to achieve

specific learning objectives.
2. Teacher Facilitation - In both cases, effective teaching methods and guidance from
instructors play a crucial role.
3. Cost Factors - While digital resources may incur technology-related costs,
conventional resources may involve printing and distribution expenses.

Ultimately, the choice between digital and conventional learning resources depends on
factors such as educational goals, learner preferences, and available infrastructure.

3.2. On your own teaching and learning experience, which of the following is an
effective method of teaching is the conventional method of teaching or the digital
application method of teaching? Why?
The effectiveness of teaching methods depends on various factors, including the
subject matter, learning objectives, and the preferences of both teachers and students.
Both conventional and digital methods have their merits.

Conventional Method of Teaching

~Strengths
- Familiarity: Traditional methods are well-established and often familiar to both
teachers and students.
- Tangibility: Physical resources like textbooks can provide a tangible and enduring
learning experience.
~ Considerations
- Limited Interactivity: Traditional methods may have limitations in terms of interactivity
and dynamic engagement.

Digital Application Method of Teaching:

~Strengths
- Interactivity: Digital methods often allow for interactive and dynamic learning
experiences, promoting engagement.
- Accessibility: Digital resources provide flexibility and accessibility, catering to diverse
learning styles.
~Considerations:
- Technology Dependency: Access to technology is essential, and not all students may
have equal access.

Ultimately, a blended approach that combines the strengths of both conventional and
digital methods is often considered effective. This approach allows educators to
leverage the benefits of technology while maintaining the essential elements of
traditional teaching methods. The key is to adapt teaching methods based on the
specific learning context and goals.
