In designing a marketing plan or strategy to be effective and efficient, companies use


an essential and valuable tool which is demographic analysis. By understanding consumer
characteristics such as age, income, education, and family structure, companies can create
marketing promotions relevant to detailed market sectors. For example, a company that
produces luxury goods might target consumers with high incomes, by providing a premium
and exclusive quality to their advertisements. By using this approach, companies can capture
the attention of consumers and build closer and closer relationships with consumers who are
suited to their products.
Companies will be able to use demographic data to create a personalized experience
for consumers. For example, Apple realizes and understands that the younger generation and
professional segments are more interested in the latest technology and have a premium
design. Therefore, Apple targets its products such as the iPhone and Macbook to this segment
through promotions and advertisements that emphasize innovation and modern lifestyle. At
this time Apple's product, namely their smartphone iPhone, is trending and popular among
young people in, by focusing on this segment Apple advertises their products on various
social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok. Apple is successful in building strong
loyalty among young people and professionals. By customizing its products, Apple with
specific demographic data helps them by creating a strong appeal and having consumers who
are loyal in the long run.
In today's increasingly competitive market, a marketing plan or strategy based on
demographic data can provide a substantial competitive advantage for technology companies
like Apple. In addition to targeting young people and professionals with their products, Apple
also understands the demographic needs of creative workers and professionals with high
purchasing power through their products. Apple utilizes this demographic data to develop
marketing strategies that highlight the high performance of its products and elegant designs
that appeal to young professionals. Not only that, Apple can build long-term customer loyalty
among tech users who require high-performance products. Strategies based on demographic
