 Abstract :
 The Bank Management System is designed to
automate and streamline banking operations,
providing a secure and efficient platform for
managing customer accounts, transactions, and
loans. It aims to replace manual banking
processes with a digitized solution that offers
real-time transaction processing, improved data
accuracy, and enhanced customer service. Key
functionalities include account management,
transaction handling (deposits, withdrawals,
fund transfers), loan management, and reporting
tools.
 The system ensures data security through user
authentication, encryption, and role-based
access control. It supports multiple user types,
such as administrators, bank staff, and
customers, each with varying access levels. Built
using modern technologies, this system not only
improves the operational efficiency of banks but
also offers scalability to accommodate growing
customer bases and services.

 Literature Review :

1.Efficiency: Automating core banking functions like

transactions and account management improves
operational speed and customer service 【 Gupta,
2015].
2.Database Management: Efficient DBMS ensures
scalable handling of large banking data such as
transactions and customer records【Johnson, 2016】.
3.Loan and Risk Management: Digital loan
management systems improve risk control and
streamline loan processes【Sharma, 2020】.
4.User Experience: Intuitive and user-friendly
interfaces enhance customer satisfaction and staff
efficiency【Martinez, 2021】.
5.Challenges: High costs, staff training, and
development time are significant hurdles in
implementing BMS software【Patel, 2016】.
 Problem Formulation : Although the basic
type of service offered by a depends upon the type of
bank and the country. Services provided
usually include: taking deposits from their customers
and issuing current or checking accounts and savings
accounts to individuals and business. Extending
loans to individuals and business, cashing cheque.
Facilitating money transactions such as cashiers
cheque, consumers and commercial financial
advisory services, financial transaction can be
performed through many different channels.

 Objective. :
 The main objective is to speed up the
transactions done by customers.
 To Provide low interest of loans and advances for
customers.

 To Ensure safety.

 Methodology /Planning of work. :

 The methodology for developing a Bank Management
System (BMS) follows the **Software Development
Life Cycle (SDLC)** model, ensuring a structured and
systematic approach. The steps involved are:
1.Requirement Analysis :
 Objective :Gather detailed requirements from
stakeholders, including bank staff, customers, and
administrators.
 - Gather system requirements (account
management, transactions, security) and document
them.

2. System Design :
 Design system architecture, database schema,
and user interfaces. Plan security measures.
3. Development :
 Build the frontend (user interfaces), backend
(business logic), and integrate the database.
Implement security features.
4.Testing :
 Perform unit, integration, security, and user
acceptance testing to ensure functionality and
security.
5.Deployment :
 Deploy the system, provide user training, and set up
the live environment.
6.Mainteance and support :
 Monitor performance, update software, and provide
user support.
 This approach ensures a secure, scalable, and
efficient Bank Management System.
★Facilities Required for Proposed Work :
