A mongoose is a small animal, almost the same size of a squirrel. It is black in colour. It lives in
a hole made by termites on the ant –hill. It catches chicks of our hens and eats them. Sometimes
the mongoose steals eggs and carries them to the hole where it eats them. One day Manelisi saw
a mongoose and chased it. The mongoose ran to its hole and got in. Manelisi went to look at the
