1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
1.1. This document establishes the minimum technical requirements for an Accommodation type
Vessel, which must have the following basic characteristics:
a. Cabins for 50 people, for the exclusive use of PETROBRAS;
b. Class 2 Dynamic Positioning System;
c. Active compensation Gangway system;
d. Free deck area with 200 m2 and resistance 5 ton/ m2;
e. Telecommunications installations.
1.2. The vessel described in this document must be adequate to support the full and safe execution
of all activities, according to this specification, every day of the week, 24 (twenty-four) hours a
day. The main attribution of the vessel will be to provide accommodation in support of the
maintenance and repair activity of the offshore installations of the Espirito Santo Business Unit
(UN-ES), and the vessel must be available to move between the installations of this Business Unit
(UN), as required by Petrobras, and without a minimum period of stay at the production
installation.
1.3. All Information Technology and Telecommunications items mentioned in this document must fully
meet the technical requirements of Annex-III-C ET-0600.00-5510-760-PPT-591.
1.4. The sensors, equipment and components related to the Positioning Reference Systems (SRP),
whether absolute or relative, must fully meet the technical requirements of Annex III-E - PE-2SUB-
00117 - Positioning and Monitoring Systems for Petrobras Installations.
Note 1: For the aforementioned standard , the Gyro obligation without moving parts in item 3.1 and the
2-hour autonomy requested for UPSs in item 6.3 b must be disregarded.
Note2: The annex of the standard corresponding to the type of vessel supplied must be used.
1.5. All environments and furniture on the vessel must meet the minimum ergonomic criteria of
Brazilian Norm NR-17.
1.6. The vessel must be delivered to PETROBRAS with a completely clean hull, free of incrustations
and marine life upon presentation of a report with images of the hull and a report from a qualified
professional, confirming the absence of bio-invasive species (especially Coral Sol) .
1.7. If the vessel has any additional resources (Example: Fire Fighting System – FiFi in its class
notation; Cranes; Deck Area; Helideck; among other vessel resources beyond that specified in

this Technical Specification), PETROBRAS will have the right to use it upon negotiation in
advance with the contractor. During the term of the contract, any change in the ship's class
notation must be previously agreed with PETROBRAS.
1.8. The CONTRACTOR shall provide the kitchen, bakery, laundry, cold storage and other facilities,
with the appropriate and necessary equipment and utensils to make the catering business viable.
The maintenance and/or replacement of any such equipment or utensils is the CONTRACTOR's
responsibility.
1.9. The CONTRACTOR may subcontract the maintenance of the vessels Gangway and the operation
of the Gangway. The gangway model to be installed must be approved by Petrobras, which will
assess, among other criteria, experience in similar operations.
2.1 For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply:
• PETROBRAS – Who takes the vessel for charter or for rent;
• CONTRACTOR – Is the vessel's owner;
• AJB – Brazilian Jurisdictional Waters;
• ASOG (Activity Specific Operating Guidelines) or LSOG (Location Specific Operational
Guidelines) – It is a guideline for the operational, environmental and performance limits of
equipment related directly or indirectly to the DP of a vessel for a given location and a specific
operation;
• CCTV/CFTV – Closed Circuit TV;
• CAMO – Critical Activity Mode of Operation – Guidance on the configuration and operation
of the DP and other associated systems so that no single failure exceeds the vessel's worst single
failure.
• DP – Dynamic Positioning – Dynamic Positioning System, comprises the systems and
subsystems necessary for positioning the vessel (power generation/distribution, propulsion and
control);
• DGNSS – Differential Global Navigation Satellite System – Global positioning system
operated in differential mode;
• DEGRADED OPERATIONAL STATUS – Decrease in the vessel's operational capacity due to
the risk of loss of position. It starts when the available redundancy is less than the minimum
established for normal operation in equipment and systems related to the DP, a direct function of
the number, configuration, characteristics, failure mode and utilization rate (load request) of

LOCATIONS OF OPERATION
3.1. The vessel will be operated in Brazilian jurisdictional waters delimited by geographic coordinates
in accordance with the Concession Contracts signed by PETROBRAS with the National Agency of
Petroleum, Gas and Biofuels (ANP) or, depending on the case, with the Union to support the
operations object of the contract.

3.2.1 PETROBRAS may request the entry of the crew, for the purpose of changing the, receiving
consumables or shipment of materials and equipment relevant to the operation, the costs involved
being the sole responsibility of the CONTRACTOR.
3.2.2 Any and all fees/tariffs required to carry out port entry/exit operations, mooring/unmooring at the
berth and loading/unloading of materials are the responsibility of the CONTRACTOR,
PETROBRAS being able, at its sole discretion, to bear them directly.
3.2.3 The vessel must have an arrangement that allows berthing to port and starboard.
3.2.4 The vessel must have dimensions and draft capable of fully complying with the provisions of item
3.2.1.
3.2.5 If the vessel has restrictions for 24-hour operation, which are not due to current legislation, delays
in meeting schedules will be the responsibility of the CONTRACTOR.
3.3. DOCKING
3.3.1 The vessel must have such dimensions that it can be docked in shipyards in Brazil.

4.1.4 Other documents may be requested at PETROBRAS' discretion after signing the contract.
4.1.5 The vessel and its Dynamic Positioning System, as well as subsystems and associated operational
procedures, must comply with the rules and recommendations of the IMO ( International Maritime
Organization ), IMCA ( International Marine Contractors Association ), NORMAM (Norms of the
Brazilian Maritime Authority), the respective Classification Society (ABS, DNV-GL, LRS, BV or
other recognized organization) and, where applicable, the MTS (Marine Technology Society), in its
most recent versions updated.

4.3.1 The design and operational management of the vessel in its internal procedures and manuals, must
follow the applicable PETROBRAS procedures and international recommendations of good
industry practices, as defined in the most recent revisions of the documents listed below, not limited
to these:
a. ET-0600.00-5510-760-PPT-542 – Telecommunication systems for SUB/OPSUB vessels;
b. PE-2SUB-00117 – Positioning and Monitoring Systems for Petrobras Units.
c. PE-2LEP-00139– Perform Liquid and Bulk Transfer.

QUALITY SYSTEM
5.1. The CONTRACTOR's quality management system must comply with ISO 9001 (Quality
Management Systems - Requirements), and exclusions of items from the normative framework
must be justified. Evidence of compliance must be presented to PETROBRAS when requested.

5.2.2 The CONTRACTOR must carry out preventive and predictive maintenance on the equipment of
the Dynamic Positioning system, with a system recognized for use in the oil industry and/or for
general use on all the company's own vessels.
5.2.3 All DP systems and subsystems (control, propulsion, generation and distribution of energy) must
be included in the maintenance plan, which must have at least: instructions for carrying out
activities, records of relevant activities, tool for planning maintenance, export of filtered
maintenance lists (Examples: Overdue; due; of a certain component or other type of pertinent
subclassification).

5.2.4 Maintenance activities must be carried out as planned, within the tolerance range. For any
deliberate postponement there must be a risk analysis duly recorded in the maintenance
management system.
5.2.5 The history of the activities of the Maintenance Management System must be preserved.
5.2.6 Compliance with the minimum requirements does not exempt the CONTRACTOR from the
obligation to keep all its equipment and systems intact, maintained and safe for the full fulfillment
of the contracted object.
6.1. The vessel must be provided with containment and a recovery system around all points where
there is a possibility of oil and grease leaks, such as: equipment hydraulic systems, reception
outlets, bunkering and vents of fuel tanks. diesel oil, among others.
6.2. It must be equipped with a sanitary sewage treatment system and comply with the limits established
by CONAMA.
6.2.1 The entire system must comply with PETROBRAS' Occupational Health, Safety and Environment
standards, as per Annex IV - HSE Specific Conditions - of this contract.
6.3. It must have a food waste shredder that meets the requirements set out in Annex V of MARPOL
73/78 regarding the size of the shredded material and be installed in a place that does not pose a
risk of food contamination.
6.4. The vessel must treat food waste in accordance with applicable legislation.
6.5. It must have an appropriate box for the storage of lamps that have toxic material inside.
6.6. The vessel must plan, control the storage and dispose of garbage and waste on board in
accordance with applicable legislation.
6.7. If the vessel has a helideck , it will be EXCLUSIVELY used by the CONTRACTOR to serve its team
and must attend Norman 27, paying attention to item 0115 - Transport of dangerous goods. Any
type of need for use of the Helideck by Petrobras will be previously negotiated with the Contractor.
6.8. Life jacket kit and accommodation must be provided by the CONTRACTOR. The CONTRACTOR
will provide 50 class I life jackets (SOLAS), which must be replaced in case of failure/expiration of
the certificate or unfit for use, and 50 sleeping bags for use in emergency conditions, which must
be replaced in case of failure or unsuitable for use. Life jackets and sleeping bags must be placed
in an appropriate container to be placed on the production platform.
6.8.1 In the event that extra cabins are mobilized, as provided for in item 7.3.4, the materials described
above must be provided by the CONTRACTOR for the number of extra spaces mobilized.

6.9. NURSERY
6.9.1 The vessel must have an infirmary with materials, medicines and equipment that comply
with current legislation. The minimum list of drugs and materials must comply with the
provisions of the Annex to Standard PE-2E&P-00370.
6.9.2 The CONTRACTOR will be responsible for the disposal, maintenance and control of medicines
and health products, including expiration dates.

7.1.2 There must be a wet bulb thermometer on board, duly calibrated, to verify the air conditioning
parameters, whenever requested by PETROBRAS.

b. Have two network points for connecting a notebook to the vessel's internal network and to the
PETROBRAS network;
c. An internal extension for communication with all sectors of the vessel.
7.3.2 At least 48 berths must be made available on board in addition to the 02 berths mentioned in item
7.3.1. The 50 vacancies are exclusive to Petrobras and its subcontractors and are not counting
vacancies for maritime catering professionals and the vessel's crew.
7.3.2.2. These accommodations must meet the minimum requirements set out in applicable regulations.
7.3.2.3. Containerized Temporary or Definitive Accommodation Modules will be accepted as long as
they demonstrate adequacy to the legal requirements and those of the classification society.
7.3.3 Cabins for use by professionals related to catering activities cannot be shared with professionals
related to construction and assembly activities.
7.3.4 If the vessel has the capacity to accommodate more people, this extra capacity must be informed
to Petrobras, which may, at its discretion, request the mobilization of extra vacancies upon written
request at least 60 days in advance.
7.3.5 Petrobras may request a maximum of 25 extra vacancies.
7.3.6 The extra vacancies, if mobilized, will have specific billing measurement criteria, as per Annex II –
Measurement Criteria.

g. The monitoring cameras, interconnected to the CCTV system, must be at least: three fixed cameras
for monitoring the entire area of operations with Gangway , in addition to cameras that guarantee
full visibility of cargo handling activities.
h. The workstation in the supervision office must be equipped with the following video monitors: two
shared between the computers mentioned in item (b); two for reproducing the images captured by
the CCTV cameras, with switching commanded from the inspection office; one for displaying the
image from the navigation software and one for viewing, in real time, the images recorded on the
NVR connected to the CCTV;
Note : all monitors must be viewed from the supervison workstation, positioned at a distance, height
and angle that provide an ergonomic view of the screens;
i. One of the computers mentioned in item (b) must be connected to a TV, of at least 52'', which will
transmit the images from these computers during meetings and video conferences.
j. The TV set mentioned in item (i) must also receive the TV signal via satellite;
k. An internal extension for communication with all sectors of the vessel;
l. A voice point of the CONTRACTOR's Telephone System available 24 hours a day for DDD calls to
landlines and cell phones throughout the national territory, at no cost to PETROBRAS.
m. A PETROBRAS structured cabling network voice point. A wireless device must be provided, with
range in the following ambients: supervision office, operating room and radio room;
n. In addition to the network connection points for the supervision workstation computer to the vessel's
internal network and to the PETROBRAS network, two additional network points must be provided
with connection cables (patch cord) for interconnecting an external notebook to the network inside
the vessel and the PETROBRAS network;
o. VHF and UHF radios in quantities and specifications set out in Annex-III-C ET-0600.00-5510-760-
PPT-591;
p. An open channel communication system (Fonoclama ) that allows simultaneous communication
with the gangway, the supervision office, the radio room and the Gangway operation cabin .

Note: All equipment/devices required for the interface between Gangway and the Platform must
be provided and installed by the Contractor. The Contractor must have the resources and staff to
keep up to 3 (three) interface systems (Gangway x Platform) installed and operational
simultaneously. These interfaces must, at the request of PETROBRAS, be reinstalled in other units
according to operational needs
Ability to operate without any crane assistance.
Movement compensation system in the six possible degrees of freedom of the unit (Heave ,
Surge , Sway , Roll , Pitch , Yaw ).
All components of the compensation system must be redundant, that is, tolerant to a single fault.
Telescopic gangway for transferring personnel.
Operate safely in all environmental conditions of wind, wave and current in which the vessel is
capable of maintaining dynamic positioning without loss of redundancy, as described in item 11.
The Gangway must allow the transfer of people in the conditions of lateral or transverse
positioning of the vessel in relation to the installation.
The Gangway must be designed so that heading changes on the vessel of +-15° do not incur
the need to stop traffic on the Gangway .
Staircase with access platform.
Adequate lighting for operations.
Traffic Lights (Green/Red) that must be activated by Gangway operators . There must be a
status indicator for the traffic lights in the PETROBRAS Supervision Room and on the bridge.
Audible alarm activated manually by the Gangway operator .
General Security Alarm System with rotating light and sound signals
Emergency disconnect system with quick acting accumulator for hydraulic actuators.
Passage length, in zero position, not less than 20m, with “operational green” range of +/- 2m
(free for personnel traffic without alarms or warnings). A longer walkway is preferable.

AUTONOMY
9.1. FUEL
9.1.1 PETROBRAS will supply diesel oil in accordance with Annex III-G – Forecast and Control of Diesel
Consumption.
9.1.2 The vessel must have sufficient fuel autonomy to operate fully for at least 18 (eighteen days) days
without interruption for supply.
9.1.3 Notwithstanding the other storage capacities of any other liquids on board such as, but not limited
to: ballast, fresh water, potable water and/or lubricating oil, the vessel must maintain stability
conditions according to the Classification Society criteria, as well as maintain navigability conditions
and support the performance of the operations foreseen in the contract from the first day until the
last day of the specified autonomy. Therefore, the main thrusters and thrusters must be adequately
submerged during the entire period of their autonomy. Likewise, the inclination conditions must
allow the vessel's core activity to develop normally.
9.1.4 It must be demonstrated by calculation that, in the maximum summer draft, the vessel has a diesel
fuel tank available with sufficient volume to guarantee the requested autonomy.
9.1.5 In order to support the CONTRACTOR to determine the volume of diesel oil required, there is a
distribution suggestion by mode of operation, noting that such distribution suggested by
PETROBRAS will not exempt the CONTRACTOR from complying with the required autonomy:
a. In dynamic positioning (DP): 30% (thirty percent);
b. In navigation:
1. Maximum Speed: 2.5% (five percent);
2. of Service: 5% (five percent)
3. Reduced Speed: 0.5% (half per cent)
c. Under navigation: 59% (fifty nine percent);
d. In Porto or anchored: 3% (three percent)
9.1.6 The CONTRACTOR shall inform the diesel oil storage capacity and the vessel's consumption
(m³/day), in each mode of operation.
9.1.7 For the transfer of diesel oil, the vessel must comply with the PE-2LEP-00139 standard - Carry out
Liquid and Bulk Transfer.

9.1.8 The vessel must have containment trays, with a minimum volume of 200 l (two hundred liters), in
each fuel oil outlet available on the vessel for the diesel transfer operation.

current higher than the informed values, but always in accordance with the operational safety of
class DP2 redundancy, according to CAMO- ASOG of the vessel, or other limitations as per the
TAM.
NOTE 2: For Degraded Condition, the worst case of single failure (WCF) defined in the FMEA must be
considered.
11.1.2 The vessel must operate at the maximum draft allowed in the vessel's operation manual whenever
the sea state is above 1.5 m of Hs in order to reduce vessel movements.
11.1.3 The vessel will be able to operate in the minimum transverse GM required by rule in order to
reduce accelerations and amplitudes of roll movements , and for that, it will be able to make use of
the free surface effect of the tanks.
11.1.4. The vessel must be able to keep available “in loco” the same propulsive power presented in the
DP Capability document Plot , which must be issued by a third party.
11.1.5. The diagrams must be prepared based on the IMCA M140 and calculated according to the items
below:
a. Interval of 5 degrees or less, both in the intact condition and in the worst single design failure
condition, as indicated in the DP-FMEA;
b. Graphs of wave, wind and current coefficients versus angle of incidence;
c. Operating draft, identified sail and wet areas,
d. Propulsive capacity for each thruster according to the curves of propulsive efficiency (n),
coefficient of thrust ( Kt ) and coefficients of torque ( Kq ) versus coefficient of advance (J), its
type and its location in the hull;
e. Mechanical losses and losses related to current;
f. Losses due to interference both in relation to the hull and other propellers on board and in order
not to cause noise that could make the use of any acoustic equipment unfeasible;
g. Indicate the electrical consumption for each case presented;
h. Reference documents and software used in the analysis must be indicated.
11.1.6. Under no circumstances may only the current speed indicated on the DP system be used to define
operational limits.

automatically maintaining the unit's position and heading, intact or degraded, to the worst single
design failure.
12.1.2 Its propulsion, generation and energy distribution system must be dimensioned and configured in
such a way as to enable the execution of the works covered by the contract in class DP2
conditions with total operational safety.

12.3.1 The Capacity for Generation, Management and Distribution of Energy (PMS) must be
dimensioned in such a way as to allow the execution of the activities object of the contract in
conditions of total operational safety and without interruptions. At no time can there be an isolated
failure in any PMS equipment that results in a blackout and/or loss of position. In the event of any
failure, the configuration and redundancy of the system, in terms of isolated equipment, must be
able to maintain the stable positioning of the vessel.
12.3.2 In the event of a blackout partial due to the loss of half of the semi-buses , which leads to the loss
of redundancy in the power generation system.
12.3.3 The electrical system of the main generation must be grounded by high resistance in the neutrals
of the generators or by grounding transformers in all semi-buses with connected generators.
12.3.4 The Energy Generation and Distribution System (PMS) must have an energy management
system (PMS - Power Management System) to carry out the tasks of supervision, automation and
control of the main elements of the energy generation and distribution plant. The minimum
required functions of the PMS:
a. Remote control of starting and stopping of diesel engines and dieselgenerator sets in any
operating configuration of the electrical system buses;
b. Remote control of generator breakers, transformer interconnection and large load feeders
connected to the main generation buses;
c. Generator asymmetric active load sharing mode to enable maintenance or testing;
d. Automatic start-up and connection of dieselgenerator sets ;
e. Display of events and alarms related to power generation and distribution, auxiliary, propulsion,
UPS and battery systems, with audible and visual alarms;
f. Screens that allow the operator to view and monitor the detailed status with relevant operating
parameters of: diesel engines, generators, transformers, cooling systems, large electric motors,
fuel oil, lubricating oil, compressed air, UPS systems and batteries;
g. Automatic recovery of partial and total blackout of the vessel, which automatically restores all
generation and propulsion loads ( full blackout recovery ), with a maximum duration of 3 minutes
(only for vessels with propellers and thrusters driven by electric motors). Selection of thrusters
or main thrusters for DP mode can be remote manual or automatic (only for vessels with
thrusters and thrusters driven by electric motors);
h. blackout recovery must be performed independently of the emergency generation system;
i. Blackout prevention functions : limitation or reduction of VFD power of thrusters and thrusters
and other large loads and inhibition of starting large loads, the latter only when applicable.

12.3.5 The other functions existing in the PMS must be properly configured as defined in the project
documents (Examples: study of protection coordination and selectivity, functional
descriptions/operation philosophies of the electrical system and the PMS, and other associated
project documents) in order to function as expected by the manufacturer and operators, with
correct and reliable information.
12.3.6 For operation with segregated main generation buses (two or more generation islands), under
maximum load condition, the PMS must not limit the maximum power of the generators to less
than 95% of their nominal power. Any imposition of limitation of the maximum power of
generators, transformers or thrusters programmed in the logic of the PMS or of another control
system must be considered in the analyzes of “ DP Capability Plot ” and in the Electrical Charge
Balance.
12.3.7 Without prejudice to the due agreement of PETROBRAS, if the vessel intends to be operated,
in DP, with interconnected main generation busbars (single generation island), this mode of
operation must be considered even in the vessel design phase, following the recommendations
presented in the document "TECHOP_ODP_09 – A Method for Proving the Fault Ride ‐
Through Capability of DP Vessels with HV Power Plants " from the "Marine Technology Society"
(MTS) and the specific class notation (issued by the vessels's Classification Society) for this
type of operation will be mandatory.
12.3.8 The UPS systems for powering the generation and propulsion control must be located in climate-
controlled rooms. If this is not possible, the actions taken to deal with the reduction in service
life must be included in the Maintenance Management Plan to be sent to PETROBRAS.
12.3.9 The PMS must be documented, with its control and protection functions configured for
continuous and safe operation, within the expected DP class.
12.3.10 The single-line diagrams necessary for a complete understanding of the electrical system
must be provided by the CONTRACTOR, from the main generation panels to the main lighting
panels, indicating all loads. Loads for UPS systems and lighting boards does not need to be
detailed.
12.3.11 The Electric Load Balance must present the following minimum content:
a. Introduction summarizing the configuration of the electrical system considered for each analysis
of each of the operating scenarios (with at least, but not limited to: number of generators
operating, status of interconnection breakers and thrusters in operation);
b. Analysis of maximum loading conditions for the vessel's main operating scenarios:
transit/navigation, maneuver (approaching installations and vessels), DP mode in standby , DP
mode in the worst case of failure, emergency and berthed in port;

c. Summary indicating the maximum loading of generators and transformers for each operating
scenario, indicating the percentage of load in relation to nominal power;
d. Specifically for thrusters , for operating scenarios in DP mode, the maximum consumed power
to be considered must be obtained from the “ DP Capability” study. Plot ” for the environmental
condition defined in section 11.1.
12.3.12 The Electric System Operation Philosophy must be presented describing all possible
system operation configurations associated with each of the main activities / operations of the
vessel, detailing information with at least, but not limited to: number of generators operating, status
of interconnection breakers and thrusters in operation. In this philosophy, the logic of interlocking
and the main operations of the electrical system should also be briefly described (For example:
manual and remote synchronization of generators and buses, transfer of load between buses in a
contingency situation, among other relevant operations).
12.3.13 The following studies must be submitted to PETROBRAS, evaluating the entire main and
emergency electrical system in an integrated manner, from the main generation panels to the main
lighting panels, including all equipment in the DP system.
a. Short-Circuit Study;
b. Earth Fault Study;
c. Protection Coordination and Selectivity Study.
12.3.14 The Protection Coordination and Selectivity Study should briefly describe the protection
philosophy of the entire main and emergency electrical system in an integrated manner. The
coordination and selectivity of the protection of the electric system must consider all the operating
configurations of the main generation buses defined for the vessel.
12.3.15 The protection adjustment tables of the protection devices of all the main generation
panels up to the main lighting panels must be issued as an attachment to the Protection
Coordination and Selectivity Study or as an individual document.

and continued until the delivery of the vessel by the shipyard. It must be carried out by an entity
independent of the shipyard and equipment suppliers. The preparation of the FMEA must follow
the associated MTS and IMCA recommendations, both in the development of failure analyzes and
in the field tests.
12.5.2 The document must contain a theoretical analysis of the dynamic positioning system with details
of all configurations of operation in DP mode that the vessel is designed to operate and of the DP
systems down to the component level, including auxiliary equipment, with their failure modes and
respective field tests (FMEA Proving Trials ) to prove the initial assumptions.
12.5.3 The FMEA field tests must be carried out in the operational configurations of the electrical system
that the vessel is designed to operate in DP mode: segregated main generation busbars (two or
more generation islands) or interconnected (single generation island), in different load conditions.
12.5.4 Likewise, FMEA field tests should be performed in available DP control modes using existing
absolute and relative positioning reference systems.
12.5.5 In the final version of the FMEA, the conclusions and recommendations must contain all non-
conformities identified both in the theoretical part and in the field tests, classified according to their
criticality, identifying the consequences and the urgency of the solution to be adopted. An updated
version of the actions taken to comply with the study's recommendations must also be delivered
by the CONTRACTOR.
12.5.6 Additional FMEA-type analyzes must be performed if required by PETROBRAS throughout the
contract in case of: incidents related to the DP, operation in DP system configurations different from
those evaluated in the last revision of the FMEA situations that compromise the reliability of the
vessel regarding the activity -end or installation of new equipment and implementation of
improvements (“ upgrade ”).
12.5.7 Auxiliary systems should be analyzed, in addition to those recommended in IMO Circ.645 and
IMO MSC. 1 Circular 1580, including fuel, cooling, preheating, prelubrication , lubrication and
hydraulic/pneumatic/electrical actuation.
12.5.8 FMEA Trials procedure , to be issued prior to acceptance, must contain at least the information
as per document IMCA M212 " Example of an Annual DP Trials Report ", must be sent to
PETROBRAS in order to inform about the tests contained in the FMEA carried out, how they were
carried out and those not tested. PETROBRAS may redo some FMEA Trials tests and others not
tested during the acceptance of the vessel All systems and equipment must be analyzed
considering their degree of criticality in case of failure.
12.6. DP OPERATORS

12.6.1 The CONTRACTOR must always keep the DP control room staffed by two DP operators qualified
by an entity recognized by the IMO. Operators must have a Dynamic Positioning Operator
Certificate (DPO “Certificate”) within the validity period and an updated “ Log Book ” in compliance
with IMCA recommendations.
12.6.2 Operators must be familiarized with the particularities of the vessel and trained by the
manufacturer with the operating system used. Additionally, they must master the operational
procedures used on board.

12.11.5 The vessel must have a relative positioning system based on a laser signal, with the possibility
of simultaneous use of at least two reflector targets installed on the assisted installation. These
targets must be of the prism type and must be provided and maintained by the CONTRACTOR.
The chosen system can be, for example, Cyscan or Fanbeam type . Three reflector targets must
be provided by the CONTRACTOR with the possibility of being installed on the assisted platform.
12.11.6 The vessel must have a relative positioning system based on a radar signal, with an ID code to
identify different targets through a digital signal, with the possibility of simultaneous use of at
least two transponders installed on the assisted installation. These transponders must be
provided and maintained by the CONTRACTOR. The chosen system can be, for example, of
the RADius or RadaScan type . Three transponders (intrinsically safe) must be provided by the
CONTRACTOR with the possibility of being installed simultaneously on the assisted platform.
12.11.7 For operations close to floating units (vessels and/or platforms ), the two relative systems
mentioned above must be used simultaneously in “ follow target ” mode or similar mode of
operation.
12.11.8 Additionally, standard PE-2SUB-00117 – POSITIONING AND MONITORING SYSTEMS FOR
PETROBRAS INSTALLATIONS must be met, regarding the technical characteristics of the
PRS.
Gyro with moving parts in (item 3.1) and the 2-hour autonomy requested for UPSs in (item 6.3
b) must be disregarded .
13.1. PETROBRAS will carry out initial inspections and tests for acceptance of the vessel in which the
minimum requirements of this document for the DP, propulsion, power generation and gangway
systems will be verified .

13.2. Gangway acceptance test must be carried out, where 10 connection/disconnection operations will
be carried out. After each disconnection, the vessel must move away at least 500 m and then
approach again, connect and remain so for 10 minutes.
13.3. Periodic inspections and tests will also be carried out throughout the contract. In this case, the
CONTRACTOR will be informed of the occurrence of the event at least 14 calendar days in
advance.
13.4. The scope of the acceptance tests to start the contract will be sent to the CONTRACTOR within 30
(thirty) days after approval of the contract by PETROBRAS
13.5. The CONTRACTOR shall send the Executive Procedure for the Acceptance Tests, 30 (thirty) days
after receiving the scope of the tests and PETROBRAS will analyze and approve this document
until the test start date. The procedure will be considered approved if PETROBRAS does not issue
a decision by the start date of the tests.
13.6. The vessel must also be tested after any modifications to its facilities that are carried out during the
contract and/or dockages. The test scopes will be sent to the CONTRACTOR until the penultimate
day of work, according to the schedule presented to PETROBRAS. The vessel's return to operation
will be conditioned to the absence of impeding pendencies.
13.7. PETROBRAS will monitor the docking of the vessel, through the periodic reports issued by the
CONTRACTOR to monitor the evolution of maintenance, as well as carrying out technical visits
during the docking period.
13.8. In the event of incidents, PETROBRAS may request tests that assess the performance and
reliability of the vessel after the incident , according to the parameters established in the contract
and in accordance with good operational practices (including the scope of incidents).
13.9. The CONTRACTOR shall provide specialized technical personnel to carry out the inspections and
tests, presenting all the information requested by PETROBRAS.
13.10. The purpose of the inspections and tests will be to evaluate the performance and reliability of the
vessel's equipment to guarantee the safety of the processes.
