Title: Installation of MetaMask

Problem Statement: Installation of MetaMask and study spending Ether per transaction.

Objectives:
1. To study the working and installation of metamask.
2. To study cryptocurrency.

Software Requirements :
1. OS: Ubuntu / Windows.
2. Chrome/Firefox browser

Hardware Requirements:
1. Active internet connection
2. PC
Theory:
MetaMask is a cryptocurrency wallet and gateway to blockchain applications, primarily used with
the Ethereum network. It allows users to manage their Ether and ERC-20 tokens, enabling
interactions with decentralized applications (dApps).
When a user initiates a transaction, they need to pay a fee in Ether, known as "gas." Gas prices
fluctuate based on network demand and complexity of the transaction, affecting the total cost.
Understanding how to install MetaMask and manage these fees is crucial for users to engage
effectively in the Ethereum ecosystem. This study aims to educate users on these aspects, promoting
better decision-making when conducting transactions.

Installation of Metamask.

Step 1: Open chrome browser and search metamask an open the first search result.
Step 2: Click on “Download for” MetaMask.

Step 3: Click on Install MetaMask for Chrome.

Step 4: You will be redirected to chrome web store click on Add to Chrome.
Step 5: You will see a pop up to add to chrome click on Add Extension.

Step 6: Once the extension is added to the chrome. Click on extension icon on toolbar at top
right corner.

Step 7: You have successfully installed MetaMask on chorme.


Conclusion:
We have successfully outlined the installation process for MetaMask and analyzed the spending of
Ether during transactions. This knowledge empowers users to navigate the Ethereum ecosystem more
effectively, optimizing their transaction costs and enhancing their experience in decentralized
finance.
