3.2.4. Printed circuit board:

Printed circuit board is shortly abbreviated
as PCB. It is basic building block of most
advanced electronic device. Most PCB’ s
manufactured today are rigid boards and
some PCB’ s are flexible. In our project
we are using a rigid PCB because it is
having some added advantages such as
Fig3.2.2.1: Arduino uno lightweight ,reduced packing size ….etc.
3.2.3. DC Servo Motor: Here different components are mounted on
a non-conductive board and connected
The motor used in this project DC Servo with small pathways which are known as

depends upon the magnetic field forces.
Here in this project the output of
ARDUINO is given to servomotor which,
in turn drives and then closes and open the
door. If the user fingerprint data is
matched with the enrolled fingerprint then
the motor is start and door will open
otherwise door gets closed.

3.2.5. Liquid-crystal display:

Liquid-crystal display is shortly
abbreviated as LCD. The LCD (Liquid
Crystal Display) is a type of display that
uses the liquid crystals for its operation.
Here, we will accept the serial input from

Arduino. The characters will be displayed

its primary form of operation. LCDs have
a large and varying set of use cases for
consumers and businesses, as they can be
commonly found in smartphones,
televisions, computer monitors and
instrument panels. Here we are using in
our project the most popular LCD is the Fig3.2.6.1: LED
16×2 LCD, which has two rows with 16
rectangular areas or characters or columns.
3.2.7. Switch:
Switch is an electronic device used for turn
ON and OFF purpose. In generally we
have four types of switches SPST, SPDT,
DPST, and DPDT. Among those here in
our project we are using SPDT switch.
SPDT stands for single pole double
through switch. It is operated with 5 volts
DC. And it is having coil resistance of 65
to 75ohms.

3.2.6.LED:
LED stands for light emitting diode. LEDs
are tiny, light weight, power full that are Fig3.2.7.1: Switch

3.2.9. Buzzer:
Buzzer is an electronic device used to
generate a Beep sound or Audio sound. It
can also be called as beeper. Which, may
be either Mechanical or Electromechanical
device. It was invented in 18th century by
Joseph Henry. These are mainly used in
calling bells for indicating purpose. The
operating voltage of a buzzer is 3v -12v. In
our project we are using a super 1003

help of fingerprint sensor module and with link second fingerprint also each
the help of Wi-Fi module we can able to fingerprint as an unique id number if

4.3. Searching process:

In searching process when ever the user
has trying to put his finger onto the
scanner then it searches whether it is
already enrolled/registered or not. If the
users fingerprint is enrolled then user is
authorized otherwise user is not
authorized. Fig5.1.1: Fingerprint Panel Kit

7.Future scope:
 Further research can be carried
out to have more than one
biometric technique like a
fingerprint and facial
recognition and also in very
large scale organization, that
the memory card cannot
contain all the data. A hard-
drive can be used.
