Tell me about why UK?/ Why you choose UK?

After extensive research and comparison of different countries' educational systems, I gave the
UK much consideration for my studies. There are many reasons to choose UK, but I want to
discuss some of them.
Academic excellence:

Universities in the UK have the best academic standards in the world. According to the QS
World Ranking 2024, the UK is home to four of the top ten and overall, 89 universities in the
world, including Oxford and Cambridge. In QS study cities ranking London is placed on the top 1
in the world. When studying in the UK, you will find that practical and utility-based knowledge
is preferred over textbook learning. This will enable you to acquire critical thinking and
analytical skills along with creative ability in your chosen discipline.
The Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) is an independent body in the UK that regularly assesses
the education standards of all universities and colleges in the country.
Culture:

The UK is a multicultural country which greatly influences the culture. Regardless of where you
come from in the world you will feel at home in the UK.
There are few places with such a rich culture as the UK. With its mixed ethnic population and a
long and interesting history, it is a fascinating place to explore.

Shorter courses duration:

Courses in the UK education system is shorter and more intensive than in many other countries,
which means I will graduate sooner, and without compromising on quality.
While we can complete an undergraduate program in three years, we are able to finish a
graduate program in just one year.
This not only saves our time but also a chunk of money spent on tuition fees and living costs.

Explore Europe while studying:

The UK is well connected to major European countries like France, Netherlands, and Belgium,
being the closest at distances ranging from 300 – 1,000 miles.
With the airport being functional 24 hours, you can explore different places while studying in
the country.

Support for International Students:

The UK is known for its excellent support system for international students. From orientation
programs to academic advisors,
Universities in the UK are dedicated to ensuring that students from abroad have a smooth
transition and receive the assistance they need to succeed in their studies.
Why Not in Pakistan?

Obviously, Pakistan was my first choice for my higher studies but Pakistani education system is
mainly focus on theoretical teaching method rather than practical one but Uk universities
providing both methods of teaching not only theoretical one but also practical one so I thought
that will be very beneficial for me to gain critical thinking and analytical skills in my chosen
discipline.

Did you considered any other country?

Yes I have searched different countries educational systems such as Canada and USA etc.
In Canada I searched the University of Waterloo and York University. I can’t choose the
University Waterloo and York because the fee of the particular universities is too high. York
University is round about 32,000 Canadian dollars. In Toronto Canada.
Big Data: Computational Arts, Computation, Optimization, Health and Business etc.

I have also searched the University of Waterloo, which is located in the city of waterloo and the
fee is 65 to 67 thousand per year which is too high.
Course Name: Master of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.

In USA I have searched the University of North Texas, which is located in Denton city and the
fee is round about 36 to 38 thousand us dollar.
Course Name: Master of Data Science

I have also searched the Miami University which is located in Oxford Ohio. And the fee of this
university is round about 30 to 38 thousand us dollars per year.
Course Name: master of Science in Data Science.

Why did you choose this course?

Well I did bachelor in computer science. During my bachelor studies I Build a solid foundation in
computer science principles, algorithms, data structures, and various technical skills relevant to
the field of data science and analytics, such as database management and Data manipulation
etc.

I also developed a basic understanding of data handling, processing, and analysis,

Laying the groundwork for my future career in data-related roles.

After that I started a job in Khaksar mall mardan as a data entry and computer operator. During
my job I gained some practical experience in handling data, using computer systems, and

Science, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Data Ethics and Research Methods.

In trimester B there is also four modules, named Cloud Computing and Web Services, Internet of Things,
Big Data Platforms and Data Visualization.

In trimester C there is only Dissertation.
