•Sampling Technique:A random sampling method (e.g.simple random sampling)would
ensure that every students has an equal chance of being selected, making the results
more generalizable.
•Sample size:The size will depend on the schools population and desired
precision.Consult statistical resources for sample size calculations.
DATA COLLECTION
•Administer the Survey:Distribute the survey through online platforms or paper copies
•Conduct Interviews:Schedule individual interviews with selected teachers.
•Access school records:Request access to academic and socioeconomic records from
the school administration.
•Ensure informed consent:Obtain written consent from participating students and their

academic performance data.
•Correlation Analysis:Examine the relationship between socioeconomic factors and
academic performance indicators.
•Regression Analysis: Use regression models to explore the predictive power of
socioeconomic factors on academic outcomes.

•Ethical Consideration:Ensure anonymity, Confidentiality, and respect for the participants
privacy.
ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS:
•Collaborate with school administrators:Get their support and permissions to conduct
the study.
•Consider ethical guidelines: Review ethical guidelines for research involving minors.
•Seek guidance from a research advisor:Get support from a qualified researcher with
expertise in descriptive research.
