Lean methodology is an approach to organizational efficiency that focuses on maximizing customer

value while minimizing waste. It emphasizes continuous improvement and the efficient use of
resources to streamline processes, reduce costs, and increase quality.
Kanban is a popular framework used to implement Agile and DevOps software development. It
requires real-time communication of capacity and full transparency of work. Work items are
represented visually on a Kanban board, allowing team members to see the state of every piece of
work at any time.
Scrum is a specific Agile methodology that is used to facilitate a project.
Scrumban is a project management methodology that combines two common Agile strategies:
Scrum and Kanban. Scrumban was developed with the intention to help teams transition from Scrum
to Kanban or vice versa.
Crystal is an agile framework focusing on individuals and their interactions, as opposed to processes
and tools. In other words, this framework is a direct outgrowth of one of the core values articulated in
the Agile Manifesto.
Agile unified process (AUP) is a simplified version of the rational unified process (RUP) developed
by Scott Ambler. It describes a simple, easy to understand approach to developing business
application software using agile techniques and concepts yet still remaining true to the RUP.
Extreme Programming (XP) is an agile software development framework that aims to produce
higher quality software and higher quality of life for the development team.
Feature Driven Development (FDD) is an agile framework that, as its name suggests, organizes
software development around making progress on features.
DSDM (Dynamic System Development Method)) is an Agile method that focuses on the full project
lifecycle.
