SUBJECT: AUTHORIZING THE CONDUCT OF THE 2024 CAREER


EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP SUMMIT WITH THE THEME "THE
ALCHEMY OF LEADERSHIP" ON 07-08 NOVEMBER 2024 IN
METRO MANILA

In the interest of the service and as part of the continuing capacity development
of DENR Career Executives, the conduct of the Career Executives Leadership Summit
with the theme, "The Alchemy of Leadership" on 07-08 November 2024 at Social Hall, DENR
Main Building, Visayas Avenue, Quezon City and via online learning platform is hereby
authorized. The following DENR officials are authorized to attend the said event:

A. Learners

Face-to-face

• All Undersecretaries
• All Assistant Secretaries
• All Service Directors
• All Regional Executive Directors
• All Assistant Regional Directors
• All Bureau Directors
• All Heads of Attached Agencies
• All Heads of Task Forces
• All Heads of other Offices
• All CES Eligible

Virtual

• All Regional Directors of MGB and EMB


• All Assistant Bureau Directors
• All PENROs
• All CENROs
• All Division Chiefs (Central Office, Bureaus, Regional Offices, Attached
Agencies)

B. Subject Matter Experts

Experts and competent resource persons shall be tapped and/or invited,


preferably experts from private and public sectors, as well as key officials of the
Department.

All expenses to be incurred in the conduct of the said activity such as but limited
to resource person fees, meals, supplies and materials and other administrative costs
shall be charged against DENR funds, while travelling expenses and accommodation of
the participants from the Regional Offices shall be charged against their respective office
funds, subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

The Assistant Secretary for Human Resources and Sectoral Initiatives is authorized
to amend the date of the said activity in case of conflict with other activities of the
Department or unavailability of the resource persons/ subject matter experts.

A report shall be submitted online (bit.ly/LNDportal) by the HRDS to the


undersigned fifteen (15) days after the completion of the activity.

This Order shall take effect on the dates specified herein.
