Create User and Join To Domain
Step 2. Run Server Manager and Open Tools then select Computer Management
Step 3. Under Local Users and Groups Right click on Users then click on New Users
Step 4. Input the Username and Password for the new User and click Create.
Step 5. After Creating the account, New Users is shown on the list below
Step 6. If you’d like to set adjust Administrative settings to the New User, Right click on the User and
open Properties
Step 9. Make sure Administrators group is added to the list, then click Ok to finish settings
Enter the Domain name and click Next. You should have the correct domain info, but if not, double check
your configuration.
Enter account information that is used to authenticate on the Domain and then click OK.
When the sign-in screen appears, you will notice the DOMAIN\User account is displayed. Enter your
password, and you will now be logged onto your Domain.
You will notice that once you are connected to the Domain, your About setting no longer lists options
presented before. This is because the server centrally manages your computer.
