    W09 Staircase Drawings

    You are required to draw the Ground Floor Plan, First Floor Plan, and a Section of the staircase for
    the previously completed villa. Note that the staircase is only one story high and does not provide
    access to the roof.

    A. Detailed Task:
    1. Ground Floor Plan and First Floor Plan:
    Draw both the Ground Floor Plan and First Floor Plan of the staircase on one A2 drawing sheet,
    at a scale of 1:20.
    Include the following details:
    − Axes and dimensions
    − Walls and columns
    − Level symbols
    − Stair numbering
    − Direction arrow indicating the going-up direction
    − Nosing lines
    − Dashed lines for reinforced concrete (RC)

    2. Section Drawing:
    Draw the Section of the staircase on one A2 drawing sheet, at a scale of 1:20 showing:
    − Axes and dimensions
    − Walls
    − RC Slabs and beams
    − Slab and landing layers
    − Level symbols
    − Roof layers

    minor deficiencies. It demonstrates a good understanding and insight.
    Very Good 80-<85% Fulfills requirements with minor deficiencies: The work fulfills all the requirements with
    minor deficiencies. It demonstrates a satisfactory understanding and insight.
    Above Average 75-<80% Fulfills requirements with deficiencies: The work fulfills all the requirements with
    deficiencies. It demonstrates a partial understanding and insight.
