ASSIGNMENT-1
Q: CREATE A DOCUMENT CONTAINING TEXT THAT SHOULD BE PROPERLY
ALLIGNED WITH PROPER FORMAT. USE THE REPLACE ALL OPTIONS IN FIND AND
REPLACE EACH INSTANCE OF SOME WORD. SAVE AND PROTECT YOUR
DOCUMENT.
A COMP is a machine that can be programmed to carry out sequences of arithmetic or logical
operations (computation) automatically. Modern digital electronic COMPs can perform generic sets
of operations known as programs. These programs enable COMPs to perform a wide range of
tasks. A COMP system is a nominally complete COMP that includes the hardware, operating
system (main software), and peripheral equipment needed and used for full operation. This term
may also refer to a group of COMPs that are linked and function together, such as a COMP
network or COMP cluster.

i. Enter the text and use justify button in paragraph.

ii. Use replace button in editing group and replace computer with (COMP).

iii. Text after replacement is highlighted.

iv. Saving the document
 Click on the office button.
 Then click on save.
 Set the desired location and file name.
 Press OK.
v. Protecting the document
 Click on review tab.
 Click on protect document in protect group.
 Click on restrict formatting and editing
 Click on start enforcing and add the security key
ASSIGNMENT-2
Q. LIST DOWN DIFFERENT COMPONENTS OF COMPUTER
ALONG WITH THERE FUNCTIONALITY AND THEN IT’S
SEQUENCE AND APPLY ATLEAST 5 DIFFERENT STYLES.
STEPS FOR APPLYING STYLES:-
i. Select the text to which style has to be applied.
ii. Under the home tab click on style group.
iii. You will get various style options.
iv. Select any desired style.
v. Repeat the steps for applying different styles.

1. MOTHER BOARD

A motherboard (also called mainboard, main circuit

board, MB, mboard, backplane board, base board, system board, mobo;
or in Apple computers logic board) is the main printed circuit
board (PCB) in general-purpose computers and other expandable
systems.
2. A CENTRAL PROCESSING UNIT (CPU)
A central processing unit (CPU)—also called a central processor or main processor—is the most
important processor in a given computer. Its electronic circuitry executes instructions of
a computer program, such as arithmetic, logic, controlling, and input/output (I/O) operations. This
role contrasts with that of external components, such as main memory and I/O circuitry,[1] and
specialized coprocessors such as graphics processing units (GPUs).
3. GPU
A graphics processing unit (GPU) is a specialized electronic circuit initially
designed to accelerate computer graphics and image processing (either on
a video card or embedded on the motherboards, mobile phones, personal
computers, workstations, and game consoles). After their initial design, GPUs
were found to be useful for non-graphic calculations involving embarrassingly
parallel problems due to their parallel structure. Other non-graphical uses
include the training of neural networks and cryptocurrency mining.

4. RAM
Random-access memory (RAM) is a form of electronic computer memory that
can be read and changed in any order, typically used to store
working data and machine code.

5. STORAGE
COMPUTER DATA STORAGE IS A TECHNOLOGY CONSISTING
OF COMPUTER COMPONENTS AND RECORDING MEDIA THAT ARE USED TO
RETAIN DIGITAL DATA. IT IS A CORE FUNCTION AND FUNDAMENTAL
COMPONENT OF COMPUTERS.
