BESTOLIFE 72733
DESCRIPTION
BESTOLIFE 72733 is a high pressure, high
temperature thread compound for casing, tubing,
and line pipe that exceeds API RP 5A 3 and obsolete
BUL 5A2 and conforms to ISO 13678. It includes a
special corrosion inhibitor added to our discontinued
72732 formula for superior corrosion resistance as
compared to API Modified.

High-pressure thread compound for casing, tubing,
and lining pipe.
PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS

Penetration: 310-340
TECHNICAL DATA
Weight/Gallon: 15.8 pounds/gallon BESTOLIFE 72733 exceeds the performance
Dropping Point: 350°F/177°C (typ) requirements and objectives outlined in API RP 5A3*,
Flash Point: 385°F/196°C (min) obsolete API BUL 5A2, and conforms to ISO 13678.
This superior thread compound protects connections
Brushable To: 0°F/-18°C
against galling during make-up and breakout,
Friction Factor: 1.0*
prevents leakage at temperatures in excess of 300° F,
Contains: Graphite, lead, zinc, copper
and withstands pressure to 10,000 psi. BESTOLIFE
72733 resists water absorption, disintegration and
PACKAGING volume changes, and will not harden, dry out,
evaporate or oxidize. It contains special corrosion
