in technical development both from an Indian and global perspective, and this objective is fulfilled
through quality education, practical training and interaction with industries and social organizations.

COMPUTER ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT

VISION:

To produce technically competent, innovative, self-motivated computer engineers, through the teaching
- learning process and research with globally accepted standards, who shall be responsible towards
society and the environment.

MISSION:

To develop graduates with competence, conscience and compassion who are prepared to excel in the
field of computer engineering. To create an environment of excellence in both theoretical and practical
aspects of computing. To encourage and strengthen innovative thinking and problem solving capability
with emphasis on research and development with respect for the environment.
PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEO's)

PEO1 To provide students with vast amount of technical knowledge in Core domains of algorithm
design, data structures, databases and able to combine them to provide concrete solutions for
real life problems
PEO2 To develop expertise with top-notch logical and analytical skills in different programming
paradigm, good debugging skill and ability to work with advanced tools and techniques.
PEO3 To inculcate in students the ability to gain multidisciplinary knowledge through projects and
industrial training, providing a sustainable competitive edge in R&D and meeting industry
needs.
PEO4 To create academic ambience, skillful communication, leadership quality, self-motivation and
ethical values to discover successful career path in national and international companies.
PEO5 Contribute to the development of the next generation of information technology through
designing solutions for complex engineering problems using emerging computing technologies.
