b. Review
1. What was your topic last meeting?
c. Motivation
Direction:
PUZZLE ME!
Divide the class into three groups
Each group must have one representative to do a task and each
representative will be given a puzzle pieces to ensemble.
Each representative must wear a blind fold.
Some of the member will dictate where the representative must put the
puzzle pieces and how they will ensemble it.
Then, when the puzzle is done the first group who can raise their flag will be
declared a winner.
2. LESSON PROPER
a. Activity
Direction:
SOLVE ME!
Each group will solve or find for the missing length of a right triangle.
Each group will be given 3 minutes to finish the task.
Then, each representative will go in front and share their answer.
b. Analysis
1. What did you do in your activity earlier?
2. How did you solve for the missing part of a right triangle?
3. How did you define Pythagorean theorem?
c. Abstraction
2 2 2
c =a + b
2 2 2
a =c −b
2 2 2
b =c −a

.
3. Generalization
4. . Evaluation
For each of the following, find the length of the unknown side.
1. a = 9, b = 12, c = Ans. 15
3. a = 7, c = 25, b = Ans. 24
☺ The students will capture the object that form a right triangle then place
it in a short bond paper after that they will be the one to put the length
sides of a right triangle and solve the missing part.
