Request for Bids

The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is a federal enterprise with
worldwide operations. GIZ supports the German Government in the field of international cooperation for
sustainable development. GIZ has been working as a development partner of Bangladesh since 1972 under
bilateral agreement. Currently, we are working in the areas of renewable energy, adaptation to climate
change, private sector development and technical education, biodiversity, as well as good governance and
displacement.
Energising Development (EnDev) is a global technical assistance programme that has been working in
Bangladesh since 2009. EnDev has facilitated access to modern and clean energy solutions for rural
households and businesses. Currently EnDev program in Bangladesh focuses on three main areas:
development of the market for e-cooking appliances, support for biomass based improved cook stoves,
including policy support for the sector, and demonstration of business case for solar battery charging stations
for e-rickshaws.GIZ invites reputable companies to submit offers to supply the following categories of goods:

The minimum qualification of interested vendors can be determined by the followings:


1. The bidder must have experience in the design and installation of at least 100 kWp Solar PV Plant on a
single rooftop.
2. The bidder must have total experience in the design and installation of at least 400 kWp Solar PV plants
on rooftops.
3. The bidder must have been operating for at least five (5) years in a related field.
Interested companies with the above qualifications only are requested to collect specifications of the products
and terms and conditions by visiting the link: https://enlistment.gizbd.org. Please note, companies need to
register themselves for collecting the tender documents.
Interested parties are requesting to attend Prebid meeting which will be held on 4th November 2024 at
3:00 to 4:00 PM, please check pre-bid instruction file for address.
Required documents to be attached with the offer:
1. Please quote the price including TAX and mention the VAT separately.
2. Supporting documents of the minimum qualification such as a copy of a valid trade license, VAT, TIN
certificates, Tax Return certificates, valid authorization certificate, and any other document, etc. (as
applicable).
Interested parties are requesting to submit the Financial Proposal by 14 November 2024 latest by 04:00 PM
in sealed envelopes to the following address.
