(b) TEMBO Cement Company shops cement from two origins S1 and S2 for three market centers
M1, M2 and M3. The table showing the available tons of cement and required tons together
with the unit’s transportation cost in shillings is shown below.

4. (a) The masses of 36 stones in grams are as shown in the following table.

(b) Using the law of algebra of sets, simplify each of the following expression.

(c) A group of students consists of 17 girls and 15 boys. 22 of them play handball while 16 play
basketball, 2 of the boys play handball only, 1 of boys play basketball only and 2 of
