    How to apply for Genuine Certificate/Verification of certificates

    NIOS certificates are issued by the Director (Evaluation), NIOS HQ.NOIDA.


    Verification of certificates are to be done by the issuing authority. Certificates can be got
    verified by the student or by the Employer /Institute where student join for higher
    education.

    A formal application is to be submitted to the Director (Evaluation) along with copies of


    documents to be verified and fee. Fee should be paid in the form of Bank Draft,drawn in
    favor of “The Secretary NIOS” payable at Delhi/NOIDA.

    Fee prescribed for verification is Rs.550/- per document. If the applying institution is a
    Government organization, no fee will be applicable. Non-governmental Institutions and
    students should pay fee.

    How to apply for Transcript Certificate

    Application & payment for the transcription is to be submitted online through Eservices
    only from the dash board of the learner. Learners, who were enrolled through offline
    mode in 2017 or before who do not have a dash board should 1st create a dash board*
    Steps
    Open sdmis.nios.ac.in > Click on Student Login > Enter in the dash board by entering
    user id and pass word or by entering reference no/ Enrolment no & date of birth > Enter
    the Capche provided > Click on Login button > Click on Apply button in the E-Service
    Option > Click on Apply for Transcript
    Note:

    1. For obtaining Transcript Certificate, you will have to upload the scanned copy of
    Address proof document and copy of passing Certificate
    2. You will get the Transcript Certificate by post at your mailing address available
    in NIOS’s record.
