Goal of the lesson:

 Educational aspect: Widen the students’ comprehension ability of the text.


Learn to express their own point of view. Develop speaking abilities of the
students through discussion around the given topic.
 Moral aspect: To be able to value the friendship, work as a team, respect the
opinion of other people.

 Summaries the vocabulary and grammar material for the productive verbal
communication.
 Mini project: Animation of video “Alex and Marty Best friends forever” from
“Madagascar” cartoon.

Topic of the lesson: Friends and Friendship
Good morning, dear students. How are? Hope you are doing well.
What are we going to discuss today?
We are going to discuss how friends and friendship are important in your life. What
role do they play in your life?
Why do we need friends?
Main goal of our lesson today is to develop your speaking skills and understanding of
friendaship.
What words come to our mind when we say friend or friendship?

1. Introduction: Let’s think what qualities are necessary for a true friend.

Task 2. Now look at the screen and divide these


words into two groups: Positive and negative words.

Task 3.
Match the two halves of the proverbs and try to translate them into Russian. Work in
pairs.

Madagascar cartoon and now they want to introduce it to you

You have 3 faces on your tables: sad blue face, indifferent green face and funny
yellow face. If you have a lot of good emotions of our lesson, attach your funny faces
to the part of blackboard where the weather is sunny. If you have bad emotions of our
lesson, attach sad faces to the part where the weather is rainy. If you have not
emotions at all, attach indifferent faces to cloudy weather.
