Controller LED Status Up Revision B Boards
Controller LED Status Up Revision B Boards
LED #1:
This led should be blinking all the time while the embedded controller is powered up which means that
the CPU is up and running. If this led is not blinking it could either mean that no power is supplied to the
board, the battery jumper is not connected or the power to the embedded controller has dropped below
4.65 volts. If the power supply has dropped from 0 to 4.65 volts, the reset switch on the embedded
controller will not function. The reset switch on the controller is a software reset not a hardware reset
meaning the only way to reset the controller is via a hardware reset ( by either removing the fuse
supplying the power to the Tele-Color or shutting the unit power off ).
LED #2:
If this led is on it means that the embedded controller board was not initialized properly during the
power up sequence. In order to reset the led to the off state the reset button on the embedded controller
can be initiated to reload new configuration data from the Tele-Color. This process must be done in
order for the board to receive new data however, it may also be necessary to reset any new boards
once powered up to reset the led #2.
LED #3:
This is the, transmit led and it will go on for the duration of a message transmission.
LED #4:
This is the receive led and once powered up this led is latched on to indicate that the board has not
received data nor logged onto the Tele-Color network. It will go off once the first message is received
and subsequently come on only while the board is receiving data.
