WARNING: DOES NOT WORK WELL ON WINDOWS 10(had to switch to a windows 7 laptop)

Extract LENOVO TAB 2 A8-50F ROOT.rar (Doesn't matter where)

Installing The Drivers:

Open the device manager and right click on your pc's name at the top of the list
and select "add legacy hardware"
click "next"
check '"install the hardware that I manually select from a list (advanced)"
click "next"
select "show all devices"
click "next "
click "have Disk"
click "browse"
browse to Desktop\LENOVO TAB 2 A8-50F ROOT\MTK Drivers all windows\ (or wherever
you extracted it to)
and choose the folder to match your windows installation and then choose the 32bit
or 64bit driver file depending on your windows version
click "open"
click "ok"
select "MTK USB PORT"
click next, click next, if a warning pops up click install anyway (make sure
driver signing is disabled)
click finish.

Now the Good Part:

1. Turn off the tablet/unplug it

2. Run flash_tool.exe (in the SP Flash Tool Folder),
3. Select "MT6735_Android_scatter" as the scatter-loading file
4. Make sure that only the Recovery.img option is checked. (Like This)
5. Hit Download.
6. Insert the cable into the PC(while the tablet is still off)
7. CAUTION!!! As soon as you see the download finished - yank the cord!
Otherwise, the unit goes into the battery charging mode and resets itself to the
factory recovery.
At the same time there will be a "cold start" and the device will begin to optimize
applications.

If you need to reflash the stock recovery because it didn't work for some reason,
it is the same process just you have to choose the recovery_stock.img (Like This)

BOOT INTO TWRP:

1. Turn off the tablet
2. Hold the power button and both of the volume buttons
3. Let go of the power button but not the volume buttons when you see the Lenovo
icon pop up.

Rooting:
Move SuperSU-v2.46.zip anywhere into your tablet storage and inside of TWRP select
Install and browse to where you put the zip in.
