I am writing to inform you that I have been unable to attend my classes fully over the past few weeks
due to a serious situation at home. My grandmother has been hospitalized, and her condition is critical.
That is why, I have had to be with her to support and assist my family during this challenging time.

I understand the importance of regular attendance and the impact it has on my academic performance. I
assure you that I will make every effort to catch up on the missed lectures and assignments once my
grandmother’s condition stabilizes.
