Vernier Graphical Analysis (iOS)

To import data in a .csv file


Open the .csv file in Graphical.

A graph using the first two columns of the .csv file.

To change the used columns, touch the y-axis label and choose the desired measurement (i.e. Position
(m)) and uncheck the undesired measurement. Your graph should now only have one curve and
automatically zooms to fit the data.

You can change to multiple graphs or table by tapping the box in the top right.

To enter data manually


Open the Graphical app.

Tap Create Experiment and choose Manual Entry.

Enter your data into the empty table. You change the column titles by pressing and holding the column
name.

To see the graph, tap the box in the upper right and choose 1 Graph. (2 Graphs and 3 Graphs are for
seeing more than one graph at a time.)

To perform a regression
Select the desired portion of the graph by tapping and dragging.

A box opens asking what you want to do.

 Annotation: Gives the graph a name


 Statistics: Gives data such as Mean, Min, Max
 Curve Fit: Gives a regression

After you have chosen the options you want tap outside the box, to make it go away.

Sharing
From the sharing button, you can save your graph as an image or pdf or print.
