Develop strategies for integrating technology in ways that align with curriculum
objectives and improve learning outcomes.
Enhance their digital literacy, promoting professional growth and adaptability in a
technology-driven world.
This initiative reflects our commitment to advancing the quality of education by
preparing educators to harness the full potential of ICT. In doing so, we aim to cultivate a
dynamic and inclusive learning environment where students are better prepared for the
demands of the digital age.
On the other hand, pursuant to DO 32, s. 2017 “the Department of Education
(DepED) issues the Gender-Responsive Basic Education Policy in line with its Gender and
Development (GAD) mandate as stipulated in the 1987 Philippine Constitution, RA 9719
Magna Carta of Women, RA 10533 The Enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013, and the
Philippines’ International Human Rights Commitments to the Universal Declaration of
Human Rights, Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women
(CEDAW), and the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) among others.” In line with
this, DepED commits the integration of “gender equality, gender equity, gender sensitivity,
non-discrimination and human rights, in the provision and governance of basic education…”
to ensure access to quality basic education for all.
II. OBJECTIVES:

o Build confidence in using various digital platforms, including multimedia
presentation software, learning management systems, and online
collaboration tools.
3. Integrate ICT into Lesson Planning and Instruction
o Design and implement lesson plans that effectively incorporate ICT tools to
support curriculum goals.
o Apply strategies for using technology to enhance student-centered learning
and foster critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration.
4. Enhance Classroom Management with Technology
o Learn techniques for managing a technology-enhanced classroom
environment.
o Address challenges and opportunities related to device usage, online
resources, and digital distractions in the classroom.
5. Promote Lifelong Learning and Professional Development
o Encourage continuous learning and professional growth by exploring
emerging educational technologies and resources.
o Develop a plan for ongoing professional development in ICT to remain
current with new tools and best practices.
6. Evaluate ICT-Integrated Teaching Effectiveness
o Assess the effectiveness of ICT tools and resources in achieving learning
objectives.
o Reflect on and adjust instructional strategies based on student feedback and
learning outcomes.
This training program is designed to equip educators with the skills, knowledge, and
confidence needed to effectively integrate Information and Communication Technology (ICT) into
their teaching practices. As technology continues to transform the educational landscape, teachers
must be prepared to incorporate digital tools that enhance student engagement, foster
collaboration, and promote critical thinking.

Throughout this program, participants will engage in hands-on activities and collaborative
learning sessions that cover a range of ICT applications, including multimedia presentation
tools, virtual learning environments, and online collaboration platforms. The training also
includes guided workshops on lesson planning and curriculum alignment, enabling teachers
to create technology-enriched lessons tailored to their subject areas and student needs.
In addition to developing technical skills, this training emphasizes classroom management
strategies for technology-integrated environments and explores ways to assess the
effectiveness of ICT in achieving learning outcomes. By the end of the program, teachers will
be empowered to create dynamic, interactive, and inclusive learning experiences that
prepare students for the demands of a digital world.
This INSET training reflects our commitment to supporting educators in their professional
growth and fostering a culture of lifelong learning in the field of education.

Methodology:
1. Lectures and Demonstrations:
o Facilitators will present key concepts on ICT integration and showcase various
digital tools, providing a foundational understanding of each tool’s purpose
and benefits.
2. Hands-On Workshops:
o Participants will engage in guided workshops where they practice using
educational software, digital resources, and online platforms. This hands-on
approach ensures that teachers can apply new tools directly to their
classroom needs.

4. Real-Life Simulations and Role-Playing:
o Through simulation activities, teachers will practice managing digital
classrooms, including addressing potential challenges and engaging students
in a technology-integrated lesson.
5. Case Studies and Reflection:
o Participants will examine case studies of successful ICT integration in schools
and reflect on best practices and possible adaptations for their classrooms.
Reflection activities will allow teachers to internalize their learning and
personalize their approach.
6. Feedback and Assessment:
o Continuous feedback from facilitators and peers will guide teachers in
refining their skills. Post-training assessments will allow participants to
evaluate their progress and identify areas for further development.

o Participants will implement strategies learned during training to manage
digital devices, maintain student focus, and handle potential challenges that
arise with ICT integration in the classroom.
5. Assessment and Reflection Tools for ICT Lessons
o Teachers will develop methods for assessing the effectiveness of ICT-
enhanced lessons, including gathering and using student feedback.
Additionally, participants will create a reflection journal or report
summarizing their experiences and learning outcomes from using ICT in their
classrooms.
6. Professional Development Plan for Continuous ICT Learning
o Each participant will outline a personalized professional development plan
that includes resources, goals, and activities for maintaining and advancing
their ICT skills beyond the training program.
7. Peer Support Network for Ongoing Collaboration
o Teachers will establish a network or join a professional learning community
(PLC) with fellow educators to share resources, insights, and best practices
for ICT integration.
8. Evaluation Report on Training Impact
o At the conclusion of the training, an evaluation report will document the
program’s impact on teaching practices, highlighting improvements in digital
literacy, lesson quality, and classroom engagement, as well as areas for
future training support.
