1. Solve the given system using Gauss-Jordan Elimination method:

3𝑥 − 𝑦 − 4𝑧 = 2
2𝑥 − 𝑦 − 𝑧 = 5

2. a. Use determinant to decide whether the given matrix is


invertible.

b. Use Cramer’s rule to solve the given linear system. (13 marks)
