A. Introduction This unit covers the knowledge, skills and attitude required to produce organic fertilizers which include tasks such as preparing composting area and raw materials and carrying-out composting activities and finally, harvesting of fertilizer.

D. Trainer’s Self-Reflection of the Session To ensure that the trainee will be competent, each trainee is given a particular Information sheet; answer self-checks and performs tasks/job/operational sheets. Trainer conducts training evaluation and proper recording of the accomplished competency is shown in the achievement and progress chart. Proper guidance and coaching is done. Institutional Assessment is given once the trainee finish and is ready to take assessment in all the required outcomes in this unit of competency.
