Quantitative research

Quantitative research is a systematic strategy to acquiring and interpreting quantifiable data, which
enables researchers to observe and measure phenomena using statistical, mathematical, or
computational tools. This sort of research is very useful for investigating trends, correlations, and cause-
and-effect linkages in big groups or populations since it yields objective, numerical results. Quantitative
research frequently uses surveys, experiments, and pre-existing data to gather information that can
then be evaluated to answer specific research questions or test hypotheses. Quantitative research,
which relies on statistical analysis, allows researchers to make generalizations about a population based
on sample data, resulting in better levels of accuracy and objectivity.

One of the key advantages of quantitative research is its capacity to produce exact and trustworthy
data that can be duplicated in other studies, so increasing the research's credibility. This method is
frequently utilized in domains such as economics, social sciences, education, and health because it
allows researchers to study patterns, compare groups, and determine causal linkages. For example,
when examining student entrepreneurship, quantitative research can reveal patterns in how students
perceive the difficulties of beginning a firm and highlight areas for improvement in educational support.
