Water reducing concrete Admixture
DESCRIPTION
Sika® Plastiment®-230 P is a versatile and economical
concrete plasticiser with a wide dosage range suitable
for various applications. Suitable for use in tropical
and hot climatic conditions.
USES
Sika® Plastiment®-230 P is used wherever high quality
structural concrete is required.
Its plasticising effect is particularly useful where:
• Exposed surfaces are important
• Maximum performance is desired
• Placing conditions are difficult
• Precast elements are produced
CHARACTERISTICS / ADVANTAGES
Sika® Plastiment®-230 P provides the following prop-

• Improved workability without increased water
• Reduced water without loss of workability

Shelf life 12 months from date of production if stored properly in undamaged, un-
opened, originally sealed packaging.
Storage conditions In a dry area between 5ºC and 35ºC. Protect from direct sunlight, frost and
contamination

APPLICATION INFORMATION
Recommended dosage 0 - 3% by weight of cement. Kindly note that the dosage given here is only
a suggestion and in some cases may exceed the maximum recommended
dose. It is advisable to carry out trial mixes to establish the exact dosage
rate required
Dispensing Sika® Plastiment®-230 P is added to the gauging water prior to its addition
to the dry mix. Allow enough time for the concrete to mix thoroughly.
Restrictions Sika® Plastiment®-230 P should not be added to dry cement.
