Now it's time for you to do the task for this week. Read the instructions
below. Remember that if you need to review a topic, you can always check the
course material as many times as you need. Keep in mind that you have to
present this task during week 13.

1. Outcome

Through this activity, students give and ask for information about their daily
routines using the grammar and vocabulary learned in the unit.

2. Description

 Step 1: Collaborative work (get into pairs)


 Step 2: Check this week’s study material and your sessions’ notes.
 Step 3: Prepare a 3 - minute dialogue with your partner.
 Situation: As partners, you know each other for some time now. At the
moment, you want to know about activities you do and don´t do every day. Ask
each other questions about your daily routines and answer each other´s
questions. Tell about daily activities you do and don´t do.
 Student A asks B about his/her daily routine. Student B describes three daily
activities he/she does and two activities he/she doesn´t do. Student A asks B
when/what time he/she does some of them. Student B responds.
 Student B asks A about his/her daily routine. Student A describes three daily
activities he/she does and mentions two activities he/she doesn´t do. Student B
asks A when/what time he/she does some of them. Student A responds.
 Content:
 Vocabulary and expressions from Unit 3 (Weeks 10-13)
 Routines
 Time / Parts of the day
 Collocations
 Yes / No Questions: Do you…? What do you…..? When do you ......? What time
do you…..?
 Wh- questions: What / where / when / who…?
 1st and 2nd person singular in affirmative and negative forms: I (don´t) work/
You (don’t) work / study / play / do homework etc
 And, then (coordinating conjunctions)
 Vocabulary and expressions from Units 1 and 2 if necessary
 Step 4:
 Practice the dialogue with your partner paying attention to the pronunciation
and intonation.
 Practice again and record the dialogue.



 Remember to transmit your personal emotions as in a real situation.
 Step 5: Once you are ready, record yourselves in multimedia in the virtual
platform or upload your video in Youtube /Drive and share the link in a Word
format in the virtual platform.
 Step 6: Use the following structure:
 Cover: Your names and last names must be there. Include your photos. There
are 2 options to do it: (Choose one)
 Option 1: Insert the cover in your video, if you record it in the virtual platform.
 Option 2: Insert the cover in a Word format with the YouTube link/Drive link.

Through this activity, students ask for and give information about products in a
shop using the grammar and vocabulary learned in the unit.

2. Description

 Step 1: Collaborative work (get into pairs or groups of 3)


 Step 2: Check this week’s study material and your sessions’ notes.
 Step 3: Prepare a 3 to 4 -minute dialogue with your group.


 Situation: Imagine you are a salesclerk at a shop. Choose a shop (electronics,
clothes, shoes, hardware store, etc.) of your preference. Your partner(s) need to
buy some products from that shop. They ask for information about the products
they need and you give them information. Student A is the seller and he/she
answers Student B´s and C's questions. Students B and C are the shoppers who
ask for information.


 Content:
 Vocabulary and expressions from Unit 3 (Weeks 10-
13)
 Expressions: Can you help me, please?/I´m looking for…/Do you offer a
discount?/ Cash or credit? Numbers/colors/ size/ products sold at shops/prices
How much is / are Present Simple: Affirmative and negative sentences, Yes/ No
and Wh- questions
 Step 4:
 Practice the dialogue with your group.


 Practice your dialogue at a slow pace paying attention to the pronunciation and
intonation.

 Remember to transmit your personal emotions as in a real situation.


 Step 5: Once you are ready, record yourselves in multimedia on the virtual
platform or upload your video in Youtube /Drive and share the link in a Word
format on the platform.
 Step 6: Use the following structure:


 Cover: Your names and last names must be there. Include your photos. There

Through this activity, students compare technological devices to find the best
birthday present for a friend using the grammar and vocabulary learned in this
unit.

1. Description

 Step 1: Collaborative work (get into pairs or groups of 3).


 Step 2: Check this week’s study material and your sessions’ notes.
 Step 3: Prepare a 3-4 minute dialogue with your partner(s).
 Situation: You are in an electronics store trying to buy the best birthday present
for your friend. The birthday boy/girl is a technological person. He/she wants to
celebrate his/her birthday next Saturday. For that reason, you ask for help from
his brother/sister who knows him/her better and knows his/her preferences
about devices. Ask and answer questions to compare three options and choose
the best technological present for him/her.
 Student A: You are in an electronics store trying to find a technological device
to give your friend as a birthday present, but you need help choosing between
three devices. For that reason, you call Student B/C (his/her brother or sister) to
give you suggestions and together compare and choose the best option.
 Student B/C: You are technological people. Help your friend by answering some
questions about technological devices. Help him/her to compare three options
until you choose the best of the three and giving some suggestions
 Content:
 Vocabulary and expressions from Unit 3 (Weeks 10,11 and 12)
 Verbs for devices
 Adjectives to describe things
 Imperative form (affirmative & negative)
 Superlative and comparative form of adjectives.
 Step 4:
 Practice the dialogue with your partner(s) paying attention to the pronunciation
and intonation.
 Remember to transmit your personal emotions as if you were in a real situation.
 Step 5: Once you are ready, record yourselves in multimedia on the virtual
learning platform or upload your video in Youtube /Drive and share the link in a
Word format on the virtual learning platform.
 Step 6: Use the following structure:
