    1500ml acetic acid (vinegar)

    375g of calcium carbonate (limestone)

    Heat these two (at temperatures 150-200oC) they will form a gel

    Thin with 95-99% alcohol while adding a nontoxic dye

    If alcohol is less than 95% pure add salt and decant the alcohol from the liquid that will form

    You have your cooking gel
