Study Tips

Draw up a study • Ensure that you have enough time to prepare for each exam.
timetable • Be specific – note which sections you will cover when.
• Don’t leave too much for the day before the exam.
• Prioritise the subjects that you know need extra work.

Be realistic • Take short breaks regularly.


• Get up and move around.
• Set an alarm to remind you when to go back to your books.

Be an active • Study actively by making mind maps and study notes.

Work through past • Pay attention to the instructions – these tend to stay the same
papers from one year to the next.
• Complete the answers on your own before looking at the marking

• Time yourself so that you know what pace you should be working
at in the exam.
