Tasks
With custom attributes, you can define business-related properties and assign them to user tasks, such as
project ID or project name. You can expose custom attributes to My Inbox.
Procedure
Field Description
Name of Attribute Identifier. If certain special identifiers are used, the attribute is shown in a spe
cific place in the My Inbox application. For more information, see Display Cus
tom Attributes in My Inbox.
Description Display name of the attribute on the UI. Enter a text with up to 40 characters.
Save Value As On creation and on completion, the value of the expression is persisted in a hu
man readable format: string, integer, or decimal.

We recommend that you define no more than 30 custom attributes for a workflow scenario step,
because that's the maximum number that the SAP Task Center service allows.
