MANUAL CONTROL

1. The Quality Control Manager will issue copies of the Manual with a
Document Distribution List (Exhibit 1) in accordance with the
List of Manual Holders maintained by him. Each Manual will bear
the same No. on its title page as shown on the List.

2. Code Edition/Addenda are reviewed by the Quality Control Manager to


determine the need for revisions required to the Q.C. system. The
Quality Control Manager shall document his review by his dated
initials on a copy of the front page of the edition/addenda
summary of changes. Revisions to QC manual are presented to
the Authorized Inspector for his review and acceptance, and then
distributed to Manual Holders within six months of
Edition/Addenda issue date.

3. Revisions are indicated on the affected pages by typing the revised text
in bold and italics, and only the latest revision will be indicated.

4. Revisions will be made by sections except for exhibits.

5. Revised sections of the Manual are issued by the Quality Control


Manager to Manual Holders on the List, together with a revised
Table of Contents section showing the latest revision No. and date
of each section of the Manual, and dated signature of the Quality
Control Manager, General Manager and the Authorized Inspector.

6. Revised Exhibits pages are issued individually with a revised List of


Exhibits page and revised Table of Contents page.

7. The revision status of the Quality Control Manual will be that of the
Table of Contents Section.

8. At the discretion of the Quality Control Manager, the Manual edition


may be advanced. At such time all revisions will revert to zero.
