1. General Description
Applications and applicable ranges Mounting category

BAC series low voltage air circuit breakers (hereafter as the circuit breaker) are used
The mounting cateory for the circuit breaker's main circuit and under voltage release
for power distribution and protection of AC 50Hz distribution main and branch
coil, power supply transformer's primary coil is Level IV, while the mounting category
circuits at 690V rated voltage, 1000V rated insulation voltage and 400A to 6300A
for the rest auxiliary circuits and the control devices is Level III.
rated current. The circuit breakers are designed to distribute electrical energy and
protect lines and power supply devices from overload, under voltage, short circuit
and grounding faults. Mounting requirements
As the newest generation, BAC series circuit breakers offer several functions,
including protection, measurement, communication and power management. ● Circuit breakers should be installed in the places where no explosion hazards,
conductive dust, corrosive action on metals, and damages to insulation exits;
● Circuit breakers should be mounted inside the cabinets, with IP40 protection
In accordance with the following standards degree after the frame is added.
- IEC60947-1 - GB/T14048.1 ● Circuit breakers should be mounted to the specifications on the instruction manual,
- IEC60947-2 - GB/T14048.2 with vertical slope not exceeding 5 degree.

Fault 1: only the circuit breaker A detects the fault. Because not receiving the signal sent by the downstream circuit breaker,
the circuit breaker A will trip instantaneously.
Remark:
1. The cassette communication module requires DC24V power supply ( to be supplied by the customer himself );
Fault 2: circuit breaker A and B detect the signal. The circuit breaker A receives the signal sent bym the circuit breaker B and

remains closed within 0.3 seconds of tripping delay. The circuit breaker B will trip instantaneously for it does not
receive the signal from its downstream circuit breaker.

Remark: the maximum distance between two circuit breakers is 300 meters. The maximum number of circuit breakers for wiring is 100 devices.
