GROUNDWATER

STAGE OF
GROUNDWATER

1) The water falls as a precipitation from the clouds.

2) The ground absorbs the water through porous rocks until impermeable rocks.

3) This water creates deposits of water (aquifers).

4) The water returns to the surface through natural springs/sources or digging the ground to make manmade wells.
