Regula Falsi Method


1. Find the real root of the equation tan x  tanh x  0 which lies between (2, 3) by using Regula-
Falsi Method.
2. Find the real root of the equation x3  2x  5  0 which lies between (2, 3) by using Regula-
Falsi Method.
3. Find the real root of the equation x log10x  1.2  0 which lies between (2, 3) by using Regula-
Falsi Method.
4. Find the real root of the equation cos x  3 x  1 which lies between (0, 1) by using Regula-
Falsi Method.
5. Find the real root of the equation x3  4x  9  0 which lies between (-3, -2) by using Regula-
Falsi Method.
Newton-Raphson Method

places using Newton- Raphson Method.
